I have to say thank you to Martin Lysomirski (you can find him on youtube as well). He gave me a great deal on the Fisher F75 LTD and Nel Coil. I will say that I can run the F75 hotter with the Nel coil without any chatter. The Nel build quality (overall construction and coil wire thickness) seems to be a bit better as well. I am also very impressed with the results of the Fisher 5" Double D coil. I haven't hunted in the field with the 5" coil yet but am looking forward to it. Overall I would have to say the Nel Hunter is a slight upgrade to the stock coil.
Great review Mike !!! Very well done ! I've never used the small 5" coil on the F75, but I'm shocked as how deep it goes. WOW !! Enjoy your new detector my friend !! Next hunting season, we are getting together ! Can't wait.
The Nel snake is great in deep scrub, heavily junked out places, also great for popping into deep holes etc,but i find the coil cover gets moisture laden quite fast,so i use without, thats the only fault ive found with any of the nel/cors coils.atb hh gl tc
Awesome test I was on the verge of getting that detector but I ended up getting the Impact that Fisher 75 is an awesome detector though the Impact has some characteristics of the f75 but looking for a water machine now got my eye on the Equinox awesome video👍
Great video but I think you would be better served to actually do the test in ground as open air doesn't provide the resistance that soil will provide and anouther good test would be dry soil vs wet soil as wet soil let's most detectors get deeper due to the moisture being more conductive. I have re searched old sights I had been to on dry days when the area just had rain and got a definite 3 to 4" depth increase and found goodies that didnt show before with my fisher cz-7a ! Try it you will love the difference. I have hunted with the above detector as well as an excalibur and bounty hunter land star I thk cant rem exactly (second highest) but the fisher was the best out of the 3. I was stationed at FT. BLISS in el Paso when I bought the bounty hunter for the wife. That's the home of a lot of detectors these days it seems lol

Sure wish there were more Concentrics available for the F75!
Awesome Comparison Video Between these three coils, Hopefully Santa will bring My NEL coil, Thanks for posting

Thanks Martin.. sounds like a plan!
I'm really hoping to get the NEL snake one of these days. For all these littered places I hunt I think I need a smaller than stock coil.

Geoff Beepingmad - thanks Geoff
Mike, can you give me the weights for the stock coil vs the Hunter? Weight savings might be a big factor for me. Thanks and happy hunting!
Hey amrunner, haven’t had them in a while but they are close.. nel might be a tad heavier..
Dime was 7 1/2"
Thx Rick 👍
Looks like you were way off...maybe just me, I would say the same
Thx for watching. Was one of my first machines 👍
