I totally agree! When saying that there is an common view that its the younger people that lack that immaturity when in fact its older people (imo) that lack that emotional immaturity. The younger generation can be taught how to deal/express their emotions, but when it comes to older people, takes a problem.
Such a smart, compassionate man, with incredible nuggets of wisdom. And Ru's incredible at asking the questions we really want to hear about, that are about being human. Loved this interview

Colman was so moving and profound in Euphoria. It took my breath away. He embodies the role so completely. It wasn't a huge part, but he absolutely stole every scene he was in. I think he was the highlight of the entire series. He's in a way like the new Denzel, Daniel Day Lewis, or Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I can relate to that, cause as an older person we were told not to cry when we were children, not to complain, not to speak out. So holding in your emotions was part of what I was taught all my life. Anyone remember the saying "children should be seen not heard"? Even when something bad happened we were told not to say anything, so when I became I parent I did the complete opposite and allowed my kids to be expressive about their emotions.
