Why its called baklava ?! When its total different from baklava !!! This i would call it kadaif nests!!!
INstead of lemon or lime juice use orange zest adn orange juice to flavor the sugar syrup.
Love this! Second time making it. The first time too much butter made it soggy. What do you do with the leftover dough not long enough to roll?
I make a mini kunafa by shredding the remaining dough and pressing it into a ramekin. Serve with nutella. It is a treat.

Hi ....Plz do let know doesn't it get soggy after adding sugar syrup .....and also how long can we store and eat ....do reply waiting to make .....
Hello! No, it doesn't get soggy as we are pouring the sugar syrup in a slightly thick consistency it basically coats the baklava. U can store it upto a week in an air tight container. It basically doesn't last more than a day in our house.😊
Is that the same as rice noodles? Looks soo similar
No it's not.
Is it coocked vermasali ?? Pls tell me
It is a product available in the frozen section in most of the arab countries. There are some options to buy it online. Thanku.
@@curiouscinnamon7776 thank you mam .. im from sri lanka there is no here
Where can I get that dough online?
I have never bought it online. Always from stores in the frozen section.
Middle eastern food stores have it
it is used rose water not vanilla
You did not toast the nuts enough, they never changed color they needs to get a little brown.
That's not how they are made.

….. it makes the birds nest soggy after few hours of adding the sugar syrup
It is because the consistency of the syrup is not thick enough.
My family in Dearborn makes this for Eid, and they use honey instead of simple syrup. Makes it nice and dense!
What is Cunafa dough
It is a dough used for making arabic desserts. U can find it in the frozen section.
That's RICE NOODLE, why did you call it "DOUGH" ?
It is not rice noodles. Kindly check Google. You will understand the difference.
