In this video, I go over a coolant loss issue for a DD13, Low coolant level, dd13 losing coolant, DD13 EGR Cooler this component can fail on a DD15 or DD16.
Low Coolant level can lead to severe engine damage. DD15 coolant leak or internal leaks can cause the oil to lose its viscosity leading to engine failure.
Regular maintenance can help in finding signs of failures at an earlier stage. Waiting too long to check on a coolant loss issue can lead to higher repair costs. DD Platforms are lightweight engines and if run hot or with contaminated oil damage can occur.
