One day at Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky) | Grand Viewpoint, Green River & Mesa Arch!

For our first National Park visit in Moab, we visited the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park! We only stayed for half of the day because of the heat but this worked out well because this area of Canyonlands is full of shorter hikes and overlooks, perfect for visiting with kids. We opted to do only 3 because we were here in July and it was HOT! We started at the farthest point in the Island of the Sky District, the Grand Viewpoint. Next we headed to Green River Overlook and finished the day at Mesa Arch. It was really cool to see this during the day nut I would definitely recommend sunrise if you can manage it!
