I had a 2 week visit in High School, also spent a few days in Germany. Poland was much nicer. They have everything from busy cities to quaint farmland.
Greetings from 🇺🇸: I just got my Polish citizenship by descent/ancestry confirmed... I can now live, work and play in the ojczyzna and most everywhere in Europe❤
During lockdown, I watched the Polish TV series. It was translated as "Signs" in English. I think the original Polish name is Znaki. Anyway, what surprised me was the beauty of the Polish countryside!
You were suprosed because you have zero idea about Poland. What you expected from 6th bigest country in EU what is in tje center of Europe? Do you knkw that we have 600 castles including the bigest one in the world Malbork castle and 1400 palaces? We have 20 undercover world heritage spots.
I visited Warsaw two years ago from NY and was blown away. I have been to most of the big cities in Europe and this visit exceeded my expectations. I would even go as far to say that Poland is a quiet storm coming, slowly but surely and everyone should take notice. The value you get for the money there is far more superior than many other European cities.
Yes I agree with you 💯. Though I'm not from very expensive NY but from Texas. Still seems much less expensive . I've only visited one country that's Mexico City and Monterey. Stayed in fairly luxurious hotel at a fraction of the cost in US. I think breakfast was included for less than 50 USD. Double queen beds for three people. Smack dab middle of downtown. Sweet.
Hi I’m from Poland, I’ve been all over China. I’ve been to Beijing, Hohhot, Luoyang, Xi’an, Great Wall, Shaolin temple, long men grottos, kabuki desert, I’ve even spent a night in a Mongolian tent (Jurta in polish, sorry I don’t know how to say this in English) in the grasslands of Inner Mongolia. Fantastic country China is I’ve been many times and I’ll be back there once the situation all clears up
Poland is very good place to visit. Cheap prices (compare to west), high quality food, low crimes level, friendly, hard working people (many of us speak english) and clean streets. Poland have +0.5 million more tourists every year. Don't believe media that said we are racist, nationalist because it's simply not true. We are modern, European and open for world society that only wants to be respect. We develop very fast and even 5 years is like a long long time ago. I can't count how many things have been build in my local neighborhood in lost 2 years.
Yes unfortunately too many people have this unfair and wrong belief of racism , nationalism etc of your country. Best regards to your fair country. I just think your country's Catholic faith you hold on to it and that's fantastic. Best regards
Your videos are so great, I'm searching for a country for doing an exchange and honestly it's one of my top countries in the list! Watching your videos really helps to know a little bit more about this underestimated country
Hey Kaja, I so agree with you about the energy vibe in Poland. I'm Polish but have been living in the UK for good few years now. Whenever I go back home for a visit I get the impression of how much I'm missing out on. Especially the young people - they are so cool, energetic, they work so hard and well... are fearless, I suppose. Though I'm not the carzy patriot kind of a person, I do feel proud and regret I'm not part of the big change.
Poland is much more beautiful than for example UK - proper mountains, proper forests, proper seaside, new infrastructure. Not like UK with a few hills here and there, cold seaside in the middle of the summer, a few trees that are called "the National Forest" and old bumpy roads.
warsaw would have been even more beautiful if it wasn't destroyed in over 90% during WWII and rebuilt. But for the scars it carries it might be doing fine
I'm an American watching this video because I took a DNA test and discovered the 2nd highest portion of my DNA is from that region. It looks very pretty 😍
I’ve tried the lemon croissant from Charlotte but in my opinion the one from Vincent is soooo much better, I was kinda disappointed of the one in Charlotte as it was super hyped. However, it became my tradition to buy a lemon croissant form Vincent every time I visit Warsaw 🥰so I totally recommend trying it :))
Why not do video on costs of things there ? Although if we're clever we'll go to look for hotel rates there.. Which I've just started to do. What about eating out ? Transportation etc.
not really, there are apartments for PLN 350,000, but also PLN 1,000 The least paid job with us is paramedic / paramedic and salowy 1900 PLN It would be enough for such an apartment in Warsaw and for human needs
@@这不是你的问题 are you having a laugh or what, 1900 is enough to live in Warsaw my arse 😂😂😂 1900 zloty in warsaw if your living in an apartment with 5 other friends and eating basic shit. Don’t give people unrealistic expectations.

Incredible number of mega and incredibly amazing projects, some are about to open (look Browary Warszawskie or Fabryka Norblin), Warsaw is the most fascinating City of Europe, and just wait in a very short time it will belong to the top 3 in Europe. Proces kawki is an awesome place. Nothing like a good drink and sitting by the Praga Połnoc brass band. I think Poland is such a beautiful country. I've lived here now for almost 5 years, moved from Pennsylvania, USA and love it!
Are you Polish yourself ? I think you are though you've hardly any accent only very slightly. I've been following a few Poles on social media and no didn't think it was sad , grey communist country. Not at all. But the other hand though it was actually a bit more economically prosperous. Not quite but your economy is improving getting even stronger. But then again , it's to be expected because you've been under communist rule for the last few decades. Yes would love to visit there one day for various reasons. Less expensive for me in my present circumstances. Yes I realize it's all relative . Cheaper for some foreign visitors but not necessarily for Poles. Again depending on where in Poland like the capital or some small town or village economy might vary. More modern construction in some places than others.
You didn't get a like from me cause you were SO (disappointingly) apologetic on the video. We got it, people have a wrong image about Warsaw and even you were like "oh don't get the wrong idea, I'm not saying Warsaw is the greatest". Well every rational human being knows the realities of the world we live in, I'd expect more in-depth insight on Warsaw beauty than things we already know. Is it news to anyone that the common "man" has build his opinions on stereotypes?
You are stuck in the '90s. Poland could be a leading European country but due to the internal political fighting and a universal Polish inferior complex, we are still stuck behind the "western countries" despite the colossal progress made over the years. The YT influencers should start reporting on the meaningful aspects of why it is beneficial to consider leaving in Poland and other Central European Countries. Screw the coffee shops and alike...think of bringing up the next generation of productive and empathic generation of Poles. Peace Out!
The minimum wage from the 1st January 2022 will be 3010zl which is 656 euro. And average salary is 5950zl in euro 1297. But be aware that accommodation and public transportation is 3-5 times lower than in western countries. So u earn less than western ppl but at the end of the day u will end up having same/similar amount of money in ur pocket. Also food is cheaper as well.
