It's really nice how you explain your process of thought behind your drafts and also your actions during the match, showing the cards you speak of is rly nice too. The effort you put into your vids to make them instantly understandable even for noobs (e.g. me) is very appreciated, I really like your videos (although I just discovered your channel), keep up the good work :)
i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Jackson Khalil I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hey bro I used to watch your videos back with Duels , just got back into magic and im glad you are still doing videos and Arena is a pretty dope game so far
Did I miss it, or was the Lavakin Brawler + Gobbo Unblockable Boi combo overlooked? That combo closes games pretty quickly, and makes forcing early damage with the eventually blanked 1 drop Elemental lizard much nicer. A similar vein as the Spitfire + Gobbo combo, but more reliable in its output, in that no non-combo damage is required. Honestly, Ah its called Goblin Smuggler, yeah that card is just MVP for red decks.
17:51 Gauntlets of Light + Skyknight Vanguard + Goblin Smuggler would be an awesome combo. Only pick I feel he messed up on. It would also turn a Spitfire into a turn four 5/5 flyer with Vigilance.
I ended up with a midrangey Boros deck recently too. Of everything I’ve played since the first guild of ravnica, I thought m20’s Boros colors has a half decent long game.
I think there is a format like that, called league. You get 3 packs, built a deck out of those and after 3 losses you can get another booster to spice up your deck. It's actually quite enjoyable but takes up some time since it's not an event that takes one evening, but rather a league (as the name suggests) over a month.
I'm totality spoiled on LegenVD draft videos. I seriously can't watch anyone else. I just drafted a train wreck, so I'm going to use my inner LegenVD to build it into a viable deck.
seems like it for the most part. Lots of value to be had. and Boros and rakdos are imo the only combinations that really allow an aggressive deck, so 2/10 guilds and then there are a bunch of three color decks which are virtually never aggressive.
Not a good draft? The open colours matched your first picks, a mythic first pick and on colour rare in the second pack. Plus good spread of interaction. I don't even remember the last time that happened for me. The last two drafts I didn't see a single worthwhile rare or mythic in the entire pool, on colour or otherwise. Think we have a different definition of what a good draft is...
@@olafthemoose9413 I hate it when this happens. Yes, indeed that is the case. But where in what I wrote above am I implying that cannot be the case? Sheesh. And even then, getting good synergies for a draft deck arguably involves even more luck, as you need a very specific combination of cards (with the applicable synergies) to not be a train wreck. Ultimately, the only point is that after a slew of garbage draft pools, it is frustrating to see someone complaining about a much better one.
@@elclark1568 i get your point. It can be really frustrating. Whenever I think I have a good deck I almost allways butcher one line of play that looses me the game or get mana/color screwed and then go 4-3 or something like that in the end. Seeing lvd getting 5 or 7 wins (depending in the event) with a kind of crappy deck makes me feel bad, but then I'm just happy for Lvd that he managed to get to 5/7 wins.
@@elclark1568 I think hes just trying to say Chill bruh, we all have rough streaks. This is a RUclips video, its going to be a draft chosen out of all the ones he's drafted. Of course it looks good and plays well. The boy LVD has had the same issue that you describe. Literally all of us have.
I think the white Cavalier is a trap. Three white is insane to cast. It doesn't fly, and its removal often does nothing against an opponent's board because it creates a 3/3. It's basically a difficult to cast bulwark giant with gimmicks.
I often sleep to these vids: in my dreams I'm running down a long, dark tunnel; frantically looking for magic cards.
That is beautiful
LMAO.
me too! something about magic puts me to sleep as well

@Jackson Khalil It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account!
Nice video. Editing the load times helps a lot! Others Draft videos has a lot of boring pauses.
Really great to see an M20 draft from you - helps me prepare for my local FNM.

Thanks!
Go home Chandra, you're drunk.
Considering being an instant gives it so much more flexibility, I think you might be sleeping a bit on Raise the Alarm.
I agree. Definitely better then the moorland inquisitor
Aggro deck with 7 drop dragon!

Always thought it would be interesting to get a pack of sealed cards with every victory. Giving you more options to add to your deck.

Wow, Perfect Draft.
Why don't you like Aegis? For only one mana tapping a creature (tapping a blocker) and giving a creature +1/+3 permanent, seems great to me.
All Aura have that iusse that if the creature gets killed at instant speed then you got 2 for 1.
55:04 Even if that was the first Growth Cycle the Geists'd have survived the Reduce to Ash anyway, unless I'm missing something
Yeah, for the longest time I thought Growth Cycle was +2/+2 with +3/+3 for each additional copy.
You played against some really slow decks, Is that common in mtwenty? Is the meta real slow?

I think it's very fast
Inspiring Captain not too inspiring)
Drakuseth always ready :>
How do you switch the view??
There's a button on the top right.
Nothing like a good draft video while I Replay ff7 and breed some chocobos
Ff8 is cooler :)
@@lo0ksik heavily disagree!
Except for Laguna's battle theme, that's the best thing in any ff.

A very synergistic, good, well built deck without any good rares or mythics can easily beat a deck with a bunch of mythic/rare bombs.

Why are basic lands appearing in the drafting process? I've never seen that, I thought that didn't happen
Edit - nevermind, snow lands
They're not snow lands, just basics. Think I've seen that before
In physical M20 packs, the gainlands have a chance of replacing the basic.
#BestMagicPlayerLegenVd fuck the other tournament leaders and other hall of famers. I stand behind legend for the sick plays! Keep up the good work.

It's quite the combo with Spitfire and Cavalier, besides being a manasink.
