I see a lot of cards that say, "Whenever X, do Y. This ability triggers only once each turn." That's such a weird way to phrase it. "The first time X each turn, do Y" seems less confusing. There must be some design choice behind the strange phrasing?
It's certainly very interesting, considering they use both styles of templating this sort of effect, although from a cursory scry "This ability triggers..." is a more recent iteration of it, apparently first appearing in Kaldheim.
These few draft/sealed videos you put out each set are always my favorite. Your ability to quickly adapt to new sets is a pleasure to watch!
