Wish you had a miniskein set from a particular night? Now you can sort the listing by night or by yarn base so you can pick the color you want: chemknitscreations.etsy.com/listing/1716578443

This was definitely a standout video, it's very impressive to make such a wonderful fade set using five different techniques, and the colorway is phenomenal! You should definitely keep this colorway for future projects, there is a lot you can do with it. I hope you do get a chance to make a sock blank in this colorway.

I plan to! Although sometimes I get distracted and don't follow through with everything.
The one thing that would be hard about turning this into a sock blank is that I wouldn't be able to represent the different techniques - which ultimately is fine, as I wouldn't want to be completely literal on the blank. But the palette is soooo good.

Wow! Such different techniques that work so well together. I love that teal peach combination.

Those were the two colors that really inspired me to play with this palette.

That was so fun! Beeeeautiful colorway. The sand dune and aqua made a great base, in a way, for the stronger/deeper colors. Lovely. Thanks!!

Now that I've seen all five nights, I can say with confidence that there is not a single one of these sets that I would not have been delighted to receive. What an amazing collection! That said, I do believe that I got the very, very best of them all in my choice if the yak blend plus your choice of night 2. Thank you so much! I dithered for a while over whether or not to participate in the Summer series, contenting myself with the Chanukah set, but I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and indulge.

Sometimes I hang onto my minis and just look at the pretty, which is silly.

@@ChemKnitsTutorials I am thinking of weaving a scarf and crocheting a hat. I bought a second set. I could dye a full skein like the dip dyed one to use for the weft. Of course I need more practice with my loom first.

Do you cover your pan doing it this way? ( steamer pan)

Sometimes I do if the water level is low. However, I mostly leave it open so I can keep an eye on things. (I also don't have alid for the steam pan)

@@ChemKnitsTutorials thank you! I’m just dipping my toes into dying yarn. Just trying to figure things out 😊. I did try dip dying with violet food coloring, like you😊. It turned out beautiful! Thanks for being a great teacher 😉
