Exploring The Abandoned Central Television Studios (Now Demolished)

Back in 2014. Me and a group of friends were allowed to see the inside of the former studios of ATV and Central Television in Birmingham, UK.
Although the studios by this point had no power and were stripped out. I took a video camera with me. This is a short montage of useable footage. The studios have since been fully demolished.

Sad to see the old Central Television studios demolished and destroyed. My aunt is an Ex TV-presenter and has done programmes for the BBC. Television South. Granada. Channel 4 etc. She retired in 2004.

Southern television also used to work there for sometime until 1981

Southern?? they had their Northam studios in Southampton, why would they use these studios??

I remember the old central television studio on Broad street i went pass on the bus at evening and night the lights went out in 1997 then it been knocked down to make way a arena central office block complex ITV central news has moved to Gas street

And now we hear after bringing this to the ground that they're building studios in grotty Digbeth.
