Escuche a esta asombrosa banda en 1989 en Lima Perú, aqui ya habia un lugar de conocedores de bandas y guitarristas virtuosos en el centro de Lima. Vendian los cassettes tan pronto como salian de EEUU.
Watching PG here in Racer X is like watching a tennis match. If you take your eye off of PG just for an instant, you'll miss a lick, out of trillions of them.
I have, or have seen many Racer X live bootlegs throughout the years. But I haven’t seen this one.Paul is really on fire here. Thanks for posting this.
@@MarkKirbyMusic yes it certainly was!! It was in a prefab soundproof room inside of McCormick Place!! Really loud inside, but fairly quiet on the outside of the room.
Thanks Will! If you hadn’t had a chance, check out the other videos on my channel. I just watched your video for your song “echo”, very unique, interesting and great playing! Cheers!
Thanks Mark, much appriciated! Many moons ago I actually did an Ibanez clinic with Paul Gilbert. www.willschut.com/wp-content/uploads/images/23-Goofinaround-with-Paul-Gilbert-2007.jpg Not only is Paul an ridiculously gifted musician, but what a great "bro" to hang out with as well.......
This video reminded me of my adolescence. I started playing guitar because of bands like this one. What a wonderful time for the guitar.@@MarkKirbyMusic
Fate was that the next pairing was Paul with Billy Sheehan..... and the rest is history.... Only thing that has me wondering is what if... Paul, Billy, .... and Diamond Dave ....
@@MarkKirbyMusic honestly i had no idea all these years. i thought what i had was the entire performance and didn't even know there was another part. Seeing the first half was as special to me as seeing the second half was to you. Thank YOU for the great job restoring both parts, merging them and making this available for die hard fans out there like me
The ultimate shredding band, pure unmatched ferocious insanity! Paul's right hand was on another planet, no one could shred like him.
Not one weak link in the chain here....
Top notch insanity to the max !!! Love Racer X !!!
Amazing!!! Racer X were truly one of the best..
Thanks for watching, and I agree!

This band deserves to be bigger than others
Talent gets u nowhere :(
Flawless playing. It inspires the love for guitar all over again.
It keeps me inspired too, Mike! Thanks for supporting my Racer X obsession. 🤘🏼

You’re welcome, thanks for watching!
Thank you! I have this on VHS, but haven't seen it for years. I was never sure where it was from to be able to find it in a search.
Oh cool! How is the quality compared to what I did? If you think it’s better, I could transfer it from your VHS to digital, etc.
@@MarkKirbyMusic Mine is probably worse - it was a copy of a copy (presumably of a copy)!
Lol, been there! @@seethroughhead505
I was lucky enough to witness this show!!! 🤘😎🤘
That’s awesome! Was it really loud? I am assuming yes lol

Epic
It’s Epic because you kept the second half in tact for 33 years! Thank you!

That’s when Paul goes BIG!

Amazing musicians with a lousy singer
The vocalist is very ad hoc with the band's music 🤘
