Nice one Charlie , meeting up with riders to chat or just chill at cafes or parks is an integral part of your well being . Here in Sussex in oct 25 we will be losing a very well known and loved cafe called Whiteways located at the top of Bury Hill nr Arundel . It has been run by the same family for the past 18years , its not just a case of bikers but also walkers , cyclists , and dog walkers . Plans are afoot to turn it into an upmarket dinning venue . Since retiring last year it has been a good excuse to get out on the flat and meet up with the other old gits who frequent it during the week
Nice one Charlie, as a former paramedic myself, I completely agree with you on the rewards off the job, and that is also why biking is good for clearing your head and keep you sane and sound, keep them coming!!!
Charlie you're a star, love your vlogs, love your honesty, love your outlook on life, love the content, love your music choices, keep them coming, ride safe and continue being you..
Thanks Charlie for the video's, having worked with a paramedic as an emergency care assistant for many years i agree fully with your comments. I got my full bike licence last year at the age of 72 and enjoy riding when i can. Keep doing the video's and all the best, Steve.
Looking forward to hearing those 😂. She will achieve her goal, that’s the main thing . Her older siblings have done really well and I’m positive she and her younger sister will both be fine. 😊
I like the hard boxes except for the danger. Don't forget that your bike will keep moving forward when you go down. That's when the boxes get you. Be safe and I hope you never need to worry about them.
Hi Charlie, loving the bike and what you have done with it. i am forever grateful to the paramedics as they saved my life back in November 2019. Love the Q&A vlog too.
Evening Charlie,as a retired Paramedic myself (gualified in '93) i remember saying i wanted to "make a difference"Loved my role and mentored many other great staff. It was the greatest job until sadly ,the NHS became broken many years ago. However now with 37 years with the service i think until state pension kicks in ....i'm a lifer
Thanks for your life story.Sounds like me you are a free spirit. You summed it up “ life is for living “ Once l escaped from the city l ticked every box in my bucket list.(Farm ,Garden,Forge,Smallholder, narrow boat, and back to helping on a farm at 70.😊Lovely video!
A great video - I’m with you on the hard luggage, security and convenience wins for me plus my himmy(s) are touring shopping do it all bikes so the boxes are essentially on all the time. Loved the drone shots and the coffee machine …. I’m a flask of tea fella. Thank you for the work you do. My sister in law is a paramedic she’s just gone PT. Here favourite memories are the babies she’s delivered. Ride safe and enjoy planning those tours ( I’m upto three so far for next year and still planning/ booking ! )
Great bimble ramble video, very interesting answers, looks like you had a great day for it. I think you’re right about the hard luggage helping if you have a spill and it’s much easier to unlock rather than undo panniers to help when lifting up your bike. 👍😎
Really enjoyed that Charlie very interesting. Don't think I could b bothered with that coffee machine though and certainly not at that price. Little folding camping gas stove and a metal mug for the Kenco instant. 🙂
Hi Charlie - I was fortunate enough in my work (don’t ask) to go out with two paramedic crews (East Midlands and WAST), so humbling to be with the crews and see what they had to do over the course of a shift. I was awe of them and my work felt ‘small’ in comparison. Love the channel - your channel is the one I enjoy most, even inspired me to get back on the bike again after a few years of it sitting in the garage. Thankyou.
Another great video Charlie, keep them coming! I don't know much about computers but as a newbie RUclipsr I was pulling my hair out with lagging even on 1080. I spoke with a youngster who told me that my apple imac was not powerful enough. Couldn't afford a new more powerful imac ( £2500 ) so went for a Dell laptop costing about £1200 which does cope with 4k comfortably using Capcut for editing. Hope this helps 😊😊
In the time it took you to make your first Nano brew... I taught my cat how to read......in braille!!😂😂 Then my cheeky cat pointed at the flask.... what was she trying to say?😂😂😂 Hope you are well and regards from Wroughton 👍👍👍👍
Very enjoyable vlog Charlie, thank you for taking the time to bring them to us. Paramedics saved my life when I had a major heart attack at home on Xmas Eve night three years ago. Hoping to bump into you one day at an event somewhere.
What a nice look into your life well done to you for managing to retrain with two children to look after and running a household, I’m very grateful for the nhs workers the ambulance crew that come to help me changed my life for the better 👌🏻 take care and safe travels
This was great, I loved to hear you talking about anything and everything. Was really interesting to hear how and why you became a Paramedic and what you've done in the past too. Always watch start to finish every time☺️ I always admire your camera work. I know I couldn't do it, I've barely mastered a knife and fork🤣 Keep them coming 🏍️😄
You do you your way we all know your genuine. BTW hiya Charlie, still looking good as ever. Love your work and long may it continue. All the best and see you soon. SI ✌😎.

Charlie , thanks for the insight into your life. My 16 year old daughter is looking into a future in medicine. she will be doing her A levels and then university. She is keeping her options open on which path of medicine she wants to go into. She has mentioned about the paramedic side. She goes to StJohn Ambulance now which gives her some experience into a medical role. Your impression of a plane was uncanny , do you do any others ? 😂😂😂 As always ride safe!
Loved this one, entertaining & informative. Sadly people love to "put down" or "belittle" your choices. Ignore them and smile they hate it. If solid luggage works for you great ! Keep the wheels rd side down and keep posting. Cheers !
Thanks, Charlie for that awesome video. Really enjoy your bimbles, what a great way to answer questions on the bike. Nice to know that you don’t have everything new in ways of cameras. Getting used or less expensive gear still works. My hat goes off to you for studying to be a paramedic. My dad was a paramedic a long time ago in England and in Canada when we came here and that does take a lot. kudos to you. Well, that was an interesting product that you reviewed handy for along the road coffee as long as it’s powered up I guess and you’ve gotta love a great drone shot. Thank you you always looking forward to your next video.

Thank you for that, you've lead an interesting life. The debate about hard or soft panniers is neve ending, personally I like a top box for security and soft side bags. The coffee machine looks good, I always use an Aeropress when camping as they're cheap, robust and make great coffee.
Great video, nice to hear a bit of background and the reasons behind getting into biking, not sure if you ever fancied attending the Ride To The Wall biker event which is a remembrance event for Ex Service personal & also has reembrace places for emergency personal. Thank you for sharing your ride. I can’t imagine you working in a bank. 🙂 I too use the free DaVinci editing software. It’s so good I can imagine what the paid for version could offer on top.

I absolutely do, it's on my front crash guard and I'll have a little delve into that on a blog soon. There is a ' what does a paramedic pack' vlog on the channel too. 😊
Weight, or more precisely lack of, is expensive so you pay your money and you take your choice. And remember to work out if it’s dry or wet weight specified. Hondas are normally ‘wet’ with fuel, KTM for instance are normally dry or wet without fuel.
I like your viedos , always very entertaining 😎,,, just wondering why don’t you wear some type of high Viz ? Your riding suit and helmet is black , be safe be seen 💖
Not being a continual You Tube advertiser is a good thing in my opinion Charlie. Many of the channels have basically become just one long advert.
One of the reasons I try to avoid doing constant reviews.😊
Thanks Charlie - excellent vlog. Nice way to pass 45 minutes on a dark and miserable winters evening down here in Cornwall! Thank you.

Thanks Charlie, have a great weekend
Being a paramedic, do you carry a first aid kit on the bike & what's in it?
I absolutely do, it's on my front crash guard and I'll have a little delve into that on a blog soon. There is a ' what does a paramedic pack' vlog on the channel too. 😊
Hi. Please tell me the total weight of 3 empty trunks.
Great video, what a lovely young woman you are. How about a cheese review?
Now THERE'S an idea!!!!
Love your videos and your channel. I reckon if you could up the video quality you’d get so many more subscribers.
If a camera company wants to sponsor me I'm all for it. 🤣
Could you when you have a chance could you tell me what equipment you use ie helmet cam and handlebar cam and sat nav please and audio thank you
It's all in this video ...Go Pro 10 on the helmet, Insta 360 on the handlebar and DJI mic.
@restdayrider sorry I realise after I'd sent message sorry
Have you found that there’s a weird hum you get in your ears ridding the mt 450 cos am thinking of using ear plugs
We should all be wearing ear plugs. When you start, you will realise how much noise you are blocking out. Please do..
That's the thing I'm looking at!
does that portable coffee machine make hot chocolate aswell? for us who literally puke at the smell of coffee? :P
I will have to check that!
Maybe get your fringe cut its always in your eyes
Now there's an idea.
I want to buy it, but I think it is very heavy.
Weight, or more precisely lack of, is expensive so you pay your money and you take your choice. And remember to work out if it’s dry or wet weight specified. Hondas are normally ‘wet’ with fuel, KTM for instance are normally dry or wet without fuel.
... I hoped you had the change to retire soon to enjoy all the bike riding and spend more time with motorcycle trips .. 🤣🤣🤣
Not just yet sadly! 😏
I like your viedos , always very entertaining 😎,,, just wondering why don’t you wear some type of high Viz ? Your riding suit and helmet is black , be safe be seen 💖
I do have reflective strips on the jacket, and on the back of my helmet, and I wear a reflective rain coat in bad weather. 😊
@ ah delighted to hear it !!
