Fun fact 3 years later, the y pipe sections are nothing but problems. Affects the Blazer, Traverse, Acadia, Enclave 2018-2022. You can see the brackets I speak of at 4:27 and 12:21. The brackets break off the pipe and it causes an awful rattle noise. If it stays broken long enough it can crack either of the converters.

Love your reviews , but you also forgot to mention how the " All new Blazer American built " is actually made in Mexico. Detroit Tigers stadium ( see link below) had 6 of them on display until they found out they are made in mexico and had them removed from the property. Also the 3.6L has class action lawsuit on them, for timing chains stretching out due to lack of lubrication . The known issue with GM 3.6L v6 engines get 10K+ miles on them and they start sledging up because of the lubrication feed & drainage holes being too small. They still haven't fixed the problem in the 2021s, and now with oil changes they are being told to put in oil-flush before doing an oil change to attempt to get out the sludge build up. ( I know a service manager at a GMC/Buick dealer who even says " Buy a Ford, not this crap ) He also said that GM has told dealerships were told to start stocking the 3.6L V6 engines for quicker engine swaps under warranty & prioritize warranty swaps over non-warranty swaps. www.thedrive.com/news/27237/gm-pulls-mexican-built-chevy-blazer-from-detroit-tigers-stadium-after-uaw-workers-backlash

America's SUV phase says a lot about the cultural rift endemic in our society and what facets get the most coverage overseas. Single people without a lot of money living in major cities want these. Stay at home moms in small towns sometimes buy these. The rest of my state doesn't care. Most people where I live drive sedans, trucks, jeeps, and sports cars from the 80s, 90s, and early 00s.

@@12ealDealOfficial Well you didn't say what state you live in, but I live in Indianapolis, IN, and let me tell you, in the suburbs, you can't avoid seeing those monstrosities. They are everywhere. But it shouldn't surprise anyone who lives here. SUV's have the same bland, miserable personalities that most of the people who live here have, and is equal to the the flat, non-existent scenery that dominates this state. SUV's represent what so wrong with this country.

Serious question to y’all. Would like to hear your opinions... what leads someone to buy a car like this? Do people not do research before dropping like half their salary on something? How could you logically look at the myriad of vehicles in this class and come to the conclusion that this one is better than all the others?

I honestly don't get this review, I think this is savage geese showing his bias (he admitted as much so I won't spank him too hard for it). Some of the interior materials are shit, and the car is under breaked. Other than that, he thinks the price is too high, but gm just over stickers and over discounts, and prices in the current market don't make sense. Anyhow, he really seemed to enjoy driving it, good size and handling and performance. I wonder if a Honda badge woulda melted his Gen X alternative heart and gotten a totally different review. Still great watching and I like how he lets his work show away from his conclusions so we can decide for ourselves.

I was wondering if that had been improved. I remember the timing chain setup being a huge problem which is one reason I went with the Toyota 3.5v6.

Ok peanut gallery haters....So, I purchased the 3LT 2020 Silver V6 and loved it and then I wondered what kind of trade in value it would command and I was able to get almost exactly what I paid for it two years ago. Then I just happened to find a 2022 Redline in Black and pulled the trigger for the difference. The Blazer has very nice power, great handling, great braking, an awesome Bose stereo system, all kinds of safety features, looks awesome with the Redline trim and 20 inch wheels. I couldn't be happier and haven't had a single problem with either of them....So, you can all head right back into your hater troll holes.

That V6 for being a 3.6L in the RWD variant (335hp) makes more horsepower than my gen 1 5.7 hemi (330hp). Granted this gets its rpm almost 2000rpm higher, this thing revs out faster to 6800 than my hemi does get to 5000. That engine is insane performance wise, and its funny since that 3.6 replaced the 3.8, which they traded bulletproofness for the insane power. Honestly wanna see the 2.7t make its way into this over the 3.6

Bought ‘18 Traverse LS AWD (b/c we really wanted 8 seats) and had a tranny recall fixed by dealer then at 46k miles alternator gave out. Dealer quoted me 6 hours and $1300...I w basic tools doing it first time, switched it in an hour & half...would have taken 45 mins...luckily traded it in for $20,5k (bought for $28k w 1k miles) and got my wife a Highlander...I’m done w GM and Ford (I also own a F150), went back to Toyota.
Thing is wife loved Traverse, big roomy comfortable and smooth but shoddily-built.
