How is the Gold Content of a Goldback verified?

- Adam Trexler explains the ways the company can verify the amount of gold contained in a Goldback.
Optical Density Testing: A beam of light is shined through the goldback as it's being created to test the thickness of the layer of gold.
Fire Assay: A crucible is heated to 2000º Fahrenheit to burn away the polymer coating so the gold its self can be weighed.
XRF: An x-ray is shot through the goldback to see the composition and the thickness.
WARNING: Do not attempt fire assay without proper equipment and training.

I see the day when the Goldback is the most trusted gold money on earth.
I love this idea of goldbacks. As a "stacker" i see it as a really small fractional way to invest in gold. I will do some reasearch on the ways you mentioned to verify gold content. As a quick question, would one be able to use equipment such as a "Sigma Metalytics" to verify gold content or ways to verify this at local coin shops where most gold/silver transactions, for the most part, are held. I really like this idea and would advocate this alot more if there was a stone cold way, accessible to all, to verify the gold content.

I get it that the producers of these Goldbacks say they know the content... but the title of the video says "How does 'one' know..." and in this case, I assume the "one" to mean "me". I don't have $50,000 machines to test a Goldback. So, what do I have accessible that I can use to verify the gold content of these notes. Purchased gold coins can always be verified by weight, scratch tests, Sigma analyzer, etc. Can these be analyzed on a Sigma? What can the purchaser do to "verify" that the gold content matches what is displayed on a Goldback.

But why isn't there a gold verification video?
For credibility there should be an easy way of independently verifying that the gold amount is there, so that a merchant can instantly see that he or she is getting the correct payment. (Kind of like how you can see the metal strip in a $20 bill)
I understand, superficially at least, the four verification methods mentioned in the video by Mr. Trexler. Are you able to share your fallout rate? How about defective return rate from end users?

We would highly recommend you do this vid again and this time actually look at the cam and stop moving around so much, as it denotes untrustworthy....and all the head bobbing and hand gestures, don't help gain trust in this....fyi
