@@JazzMasterSamurai in the Gundam 79' Film trilogy; Steve Blum voiced Char Aznable; like he does in this promo and he said Duchy of Zeon in the films too, i prefer it better than Principality of Zeon, too long of a line
my favorite Zeon model, MS-18E Kämpfer --- Also interesting tidbits that Alex suppose to be Amuro mid-season upgrade as Zeon started to deploy upgraded model beyond ZakuII, but never quite reach his hand. and more interesting is that it have designation of RX78NT-1 as in for newtype but federation didn't have access to actual newtype tech, so what they do is simply improving the unit responsiveness to ensure it could keep up with Amuro.
I bought volume 2 at a sun coast video on vhs and didn’t realize it wasn’t the first 2 episodes. This was back in 99 i was in 6th grade. It didn’t matter I watched it hundreds of times. Then a few months later gundam wing dropped on toonami and I was sooo stoked. When 0080 dropped even more so. Like many others the last episode devastated me. I had seen episode 3&4 so many times my mind wasn’t ready for the brutal ending.
That’s awesome and I’m jealous. A great peice of history you have there. I love vhs to this day. Sunrise/Bandai’s trailers too are great. I never fast forward through them. Iirc the box sets are subtitled with the chunky white cases?@@JazzMasterSamurai
Wow I remember this trailer on one of my gundam dvds. Jesus
You know its the early days of Gundam in the west when Zeon is referred to as a Duchy.
This was probably one of the first commercials for Gundam in the west.

Yes! Awesome to see this again!

I remember Suncoast fondly. I actually just picked up the whole 0080 & 0083 series on VHS a few weeks ago. That art work is pure nostalgia.

great work! will u also create remasters of the anime village VHS trailers for Gundam 0083?
I'm working on it now. It'll be released soon.
It's kinda funny how it's not actually 0080
Was anime village an earlier localization company ? Never heard of them until now
It was the company that eventually became Bandai Entertainment. There’s a whole history there.
@@JazzMasterSamurai oh thx for the info.
I missed this show on toonami, need to watch it. Is it alt universe or universal century? Century right with the title?
I have seen some of the UC.
Universal Century
It’s a Universal Century series but it was made in the 90s along with 0083 and 8th MS team.
It’s only six episodes and they are great.
Universal Century, Late One Year War
Anyone know the narrator's name? These ads/trailers with his voice are magical levels of nostalgia. Thanks for the upload!
Sounds like the actor that played Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop
It’s Steve Blum early on in his career. He’s the voice of TOM on Toonami and Spike in Cowboy Bebop.
Do you have the one for 0083?
Yeah I did work on that one. There's a few things I have finished up that I haven't uploaded. Stay tuned.
