I'm a little sad to see that this is the end of Salt and Sanctuary challenge runs but I'm also glad that it gets a chance to go out in one last blaze of glory.
As much as I love DnD, I have a good amount of experience running games myself (I've been playing for 9 years, running them for 5)-- and unless I legit have a crew helping me out, setting up expensive cameras and troubleshooting and all that complicated stuff, I wouldn't be able to do a stream, let alone regularly. Hell, setting up the game every week takes TWO DAYS of effort, what with creating fresh stat blocks (to counter my players knowing too many things), making interesting battle maps, out of poster foam, regular posters, etc., and then with my brain occupying DnD the rest of the entire week, thinking about my players and how to accommodate for as much as I can so my players can have a well-earned and satisfying win? It's all-consuming. My players have a blast every time because of it, but DEAR LORD does it take over my entire life. I'd rather not inflict that on Lemon. However, if he were to run an online game, say, on Roll20, it may be easier?
It feels special getting to finally watch this video. It was a pleasure to participate in this event, and I can't wait to see where the channel goes next. Thanks for everything, Lemon.

I found him recently due to binging Dark Souls Challenge runs(I don't play but it's fu to watch people suffer) and so I've started at the top of the video list and am working my way down watching every challenge run because Lemon is just...so damn entertaining he's great to watch, use as background noise or swap between the two.

Redeever was definitely cosplaying as a Boodborne hunter, which is actually pretty fricken sweet. Also, I use that exact same Majora's Mask Skull Kid Laugh as my phone notification sound, so I thought I was going crazy when it sounded and I didn't have any notifications
This was great fun to watch, I don’t know much about this game seeing that this is the first video I’ve watched of this game, I love the pvp aspect of this video and I have an idea if you’d be interested: An Elden Ring run(I’m not sure what challenge you should add but) but at every grace point you need to dual a player dualist.

Been a fan since it helped me facetank through the final boss. -dunno if it was in the rules, but I'm glad no-one did any massive leveling exploits like the church grindspot.. made this whole thing feel a lot better that there were mostly on-par fights -i think you were actually doing well against Hoid, he was just like 40 levels higher than you so he had a bloated HP pool. -the image of two random half-naked drowned sailors punching a god to death with their bare fists is really, really funny to me for some reason. What a great way to end the video. ^_^ Hope you have a fantastic day!

It would be awesome to have a game where the bosses try over and over again to out smart you the player and do everything they can to win. Not sure how the gameplay loop would work but I imagine something like levels where you'd get a new set up for each world. Maybe the bosses would slowly upgrade their materials too.

You may not be the best dark souls player... But in salt and sanctuary you have become a legend. Keep up the good work with your videos. Each new video is a new way of entertainment. @@Ophelia26s Just look up reviews on RUclips and look through the comments. It seems a lot of people thought the gameplay loop got tedious after a while and the monster hunter elements didn't blend very well with the rest. Personally i haven't played it yet so i can't give my opinion.
@@Markshadow4999 I enjoyed the game, through ill admit the mages were more tedious than fun most of the time. The locations and level design were very engaging through and i liked what they did with the story, even if the ending is a bit weak.
@@thenamelessguy2831 That’s the issue actually. Salt and Sacrifice is not a real sequel to Sanctuary, i guess people where expecting more of the first but instead got a game with a different formula. I thought the game looked good honestly, but there’s definitely people who disliked it. Some even went as far as to comment “paid review” under lemon’s review of the game.
So, I’d love to hear some descriptions of Salt and Sanctuary. As an outsider to all the games mentioned here, it seems like Dark Souls and Hallow Knight shoved into a blender and finely seasoned, if you understand what I mean. It’s got similarities I can think of to both games, with big bosses, dashes, consumable items, weapon/armor encumbrance, that kind of deal, but it’s also got lots I can’t find in either of the other games, like the password portal and such. It looks really neat, but I’m just not good enough at platformers to get into it, I think.

@@thenamelessguy2831 That’s the issue actually. Salt and Sacrifice is not a real sequel to Sanctuary, i guess people where expecting more of the first but instead got a game with a different formula.
I thought the game looked good honestly, but there’s definitely people who disliked it. Some even went as far as to comment “paid review” under lemon’s review of the game.
So, I’d love to hear some descriptions of Salt and Sanctuary. As an outsider to all the games mentioned here, it seems like Dark Souls and Hallow Knight shoved into a blender and finely seasoned, if you understand what I mean. It’s got similarities I can think of to both games, with big bosses, dashes, consumable items, weapon/armor encumbrance, that kind of deal, but it’s also got lots I can’t find in either of the other games, like the password portal and such. It looks really neat, but I’m just not good enough at platformers to get into it, I think.
