sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Christopher Emanuel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I find normal shelling the most fun but the most risky among the Gunlance playstyles. Although I just started so maybe I still need some getting used to. I can beat normal Furious Rajang with normal. But I struggle a lot with the tempered one using normal. I'm already used to beating tempered Furious Rajang with the Wide GL (Brachy GL) though.
Indeed, but it all mattered to your playstyle preference. I find other gunlances (Wide and Long) to be really limited interms of effectiveness. Sure it's easy and also fun to use but it gets dull very fast...(poke and charge non stop). Just doesn't suit me since I also like to do more melee attacks etc. Here's my take on the best gunlance that everyone could've dream of having though. (If it were to happen in the future) All 3 shells type in that ONE GUNLANCE and there you go! Maximize all playstyle whichever and whenever you want to use it against monsters during fight! That would make gunlance more better and much variety for playstyles. I really want that to happen so bad!
@@JoRez0 agreed with everything you've said. For me, the order of least fun to most fun: Long (charged shots) < Wide Poke shell < Normal Full burst. It just feels so satisfying to see the full burst combo from normal. What I dislike about the full burst is that after you unleash all of the shells, you cannot make your character leap right away which leaves you very open. And honestly, I agree with you. I wish there was a GL where all of the playstyles are there. In fact, I've been thinking of maybe in the future, the GL won't have a shield anymore. It feels pretty useless. Most GL users (myself included) don't even use the shield. At first, I used to. But then, there are so many attacks that bypass guards even with guard up (I feel sorry for Lance users. And I am a former Lance user myself).
@@akizaizayoi4763 Totally understandable and I feel that the same way. The problem with gunlance in general is the amount of skill/jewel slot that you need to invest in order to fully maximize it's potential. Which is in truth you can't so you have to sacrifice for the other because you just don't have enough slots. Honestly speaking, gunlance can be one of most complex weapon to use if you have all if not most of the slots to invest in my opinion. That goes for the shield as well! Imagine a lancer with all the skill/jewel slots put in and a big gun to boot! (I started playing as a lancer as well.) I've always like using shields (especially for positioning/blocking etc ) and to me it's one of best defensive/counter offensive tool you can have. Too bad you can't invest it all or you have to sacrifice the way around. Also i couldn't agree more on GUARD UP skill...should've not been a skill at the first place though..haha. Let's hope Capcom optimize the gunlance aspect further more in future.
@@JoRez0 that's my problem a while ago with the GL. I've been struggling to know which is the most optimal deco I have currently. I could farm for more but the odds of finding specific combinations would be too grindy. So many sacrifices to be made. Also sadly, the way I see it, Capcom will always favor the longsword. They're not even being subtle about it either which sucks. And most of all, Capcom is seemingly treating heavy weapon users, specifically those with shields with shitty treatment. I mean, what's the point of Guard Up if some attacks can be by-passed such as Savage Deviljho's jumping grab attack? Also, since they're heavy weapons, I believe, especially the Gunlance, that they should be dealing more DPS under the hands of pros when compared to easy to use weapons like LS, DB, and SnS. I mean, I think that should be the rule of thumb. The more challenging a weapon is, the more the damage should be compensated. Something that Capcom fails to realize.
i love your videos of gunlance
Nice run :)
the weapon does not make the man dangerous, its the man that makes the weapon dangerous... i have seen many peeeps with gunlance state that point
Normal shell is hella fun. I use lance instead of wide and long shells. Real gunlance is the normal shell with all that explosions. Good run btw

@Christopher Emanuel It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Elian Kane no problem =)
