- Go South. More than 11,000 km in South America on three BMW R1200GS motorcycles. The route: Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. Duration: five weeks.
The story starts in Valparaiso, Chile, the place we shipped our R1200GS motorcycles from Europe. We’re traveling through the barren but fabulous Atacama desert, on some impressive coast roads that take us to a fantastic scenery. Then we’ll stop in San Pedro de Atacama, a good base to explore a 5,000 meters altitude volcanic plateau where we find the delicate flamingo birds.
This is the first episode of our Go South - The Quechua Ride adventure.

I could watch it 100 times without be bored
some epic drone shots.
Epic video guys 👍 keep it up
I learned to drive in those roads, I know them like the back of my hand, my first advice is when you see the fesh fesh cross it fast, its like crossing a pool of powder so cross it fast and in the sand use low pressure on the tires, by the way I own an original Dakar roadbook from Antofagasta to Copiapo, anyway great route, saludos desde Antofagasta
Amazing but as normal guys thanks for posting it up 👍

Interesting places to ride.
Impressive drone work! Amazing trip. Maybe sequence the series? I have to keep trying to find the next episode. Inspiring videos.....and I have serious job envy!
Cool!
Super cool trip, one day I want to ride down to the bottom of South America. I rode to the Arctic Ocean this summer
Very good film making.. thumbs up
The part of your video, when you've stuck in the sand, reminded me of my worst day. I've done 70km solo riding heavy loaded motorbike, when I attempted to cross that desert from Atacama to Uyuni in Bolivia. It was my toughest ride ever. I've done the route you covered I think and even stayed in the same posada in San Pedro - watch my adventure in the Solo on Moto film.
Nice
Just amazing! This is going on the bucket list. One ask. Please hold the photos longer. You have a shot of the other rider going through the desert and it lasts 3 seconds. Its an amazing clip and should be going for at least a minute. That way as a viewer we feel on the ride with you. Hold those moments for longer and really savor them - both you and us. Thank you for this. Just amazing.
Thanks for the feedback, Sia - we'll keep that in mind for our next videos.
What a vidéo !
Here I am again! Another amazing video. By the way. Question: any tip on riding the off road routes like that sand one of the riders got stuck? Maybe avoiding higher speeds and taking the side (more solid) of the "road"?
Congrats for a very spectacular trip. Can't wait for the next episodes. Any words about the soundtrack you used for this clip?
press137 Thank you very much. Our video editor - Adrian - who is a magician will come up with an answer :)

Beautiful. Well filmed and well told. Good decision, to travel in a small group. Good luck in Peru. Don’t forget to try the seafood - it’s superb.
Jaime Rivera Ceviche, right? :) Thank you!
amazing!!! what drone is it? how do you keep the control at the bike? thanks!
Far away from home. Greetings from Brazil.
Hello!
That Trombone at the beginning is an English custom made horn made by Rath. It's a 3,000 dollar (American) horn. Sweet!
Welcome to algeria 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿
Great video. have been following your work for a few years now and the footage is super cool. Keep up the good work, And also next time , choose knobbie tyres. looks like you on road tyres in that sandy stuff? Well done

Awesome !! Btw, what kind of video editing software are you using ?
I thought your music for the video was mesmerizing.
Frumos, like.
You are a great film maker and editor. Love the music with the sync cuts, brilliant. I’ve watched these 3, 4 times now on the large TV
I dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me!

Wow Nice video
How you shipping motorcycle to the south america ?
Guys..Nice Work! Could you confirm the shipping route used to transit the bikes to/from South America. Details of the company used and $ would be great too. Thanks T
so coll!
So. Much sandy..)) it may be less sandy ))..
very good
one of your friends has the bmw gs 1200 r version 2018? sorry for my bad english. Amazing place.,best regards from italy
You guys must have enjoyed your time there. I would only dream of just doing a tenth of this. But there is something that I can't find on YT. No one seems to have filmed the process through which all this happened. I mean transferring the bikes for example, paper work, budgeting and all that.
Thank you for the effort in editing this amazing video. I really loved it.
Cheers from Saudi Arabia
Hello. Thanks for this insight. Maybe next time we'll choose a different approach
Hola buen video , vssss
Epic music - Mr Vampire in Darkness
- Henry Lai.
Thenk!
Stunning journey. Could you please tell me what you used for shipping your bikes to Chile and how much it cost you? This is a trip me and my friends want to do and would love to get your advice.
You Love gs 😍
another great video , as allways :)
Its great camera work and video +beautifull music. 👍. I dont understand the tires type on the motorcycles. Its a joke boys? 😄
Cool ride, but I wouldn't go anywhere on a bike I can't pick up by myself. Good thing you went as a group.
Yeah, actually, I can pick it up by myself if necessary... But, why bother when I have my friends with me? :) Anyway, I know what you mean. These big adventure bikes with all that luggage are too heavy for going off-road. You're right.
Nice trip. Whitch drone do you use?
Radio and intercom not tested - why? Does camera has video stabilization?
nice trip but what about patagonia?,you went over there?
