Demonic Conversions in griefing tier....really? I confess I've never drafted it in AD but that's only because it's not an ability I find especially fun; from my experience with it playing as Enigma I would say that spell is quite strong. So long as the enemy laner(s) don't have the spells to quickly clear them (and In AD they often won't) it's an oppressive laning spell and even without scaling from Enigma's talents it's still a solid farming tool. That spell alone makes Enigma an effective zoo hero and with how snowbally AD can be i feel like the value of zoo should go up. I could see putting it in the situational tier, since it's an early game focused spell that flops if the enemy has effective counters, but any lower feels like its underselling just how potent the eidolons are. Hell, I feel like they'd be even better in AD, since you could get them on a higher HP hero than enigma to make them tankier and get more lockdown spells to hold people down while they kill them. Divine Favor as bottom of griefing tier also seems a bit odd cause being able to give an ally 20 armor will almost always be useful, especially with how much people love passive fueled right click builds in AD, and on the rare occasion you get a heal draft the heal amp is at least a decent bonus. If nothing else you can pick it up late on a support build and make some use out of mek and the armor to help keep the carry alive, and I've certainly had to settle for worse as a last pick support skill before. Disseminate was the other one I feel might be lower than it probably should be. In this case I have very little experience with the skill, since I've only played SD once since the skill was reworked and I've certainly never drafted it, but a spell with an up to 35% damage amp + a weird dispersion/fatal bonds esque effect just conceptually sounds like something you could get some good mileage out of. It's another spell where I can think back to numerous past drafts where I absolutely would have taken it over a spell in a higher tier. I am glad to see essence shift not being put in instapick (even if it usually is instapicked) though. I've been in games where there wasn't a single hero that could really make use of it, only for it to be snatched up instantly anyways and end up kinda ruining that person's draft when they tried too hard to build around it. Still, with how utterly absurd it is on the right heroes I don't think it could go anywhere lower than first/deny pick, no matter how overrated it might be.
@@HWPAbilityDraft It's a weird spell to rate, because it's kinda broken/instant pick material with those 5-6 ranged agi heroes like gyro luna medusa viper drow etc, but other than those it's kinda mid, it's quite overrated on agi melee imo with the exception of like very rare super broken melee builds

I will forever die on the hill that essence shift is extremely overrated.
We agree! If it's taken on a hero model that doesn't let you get many hits off in a fight, its very disappointing.
