HYYH is largely considered a major breakthrough comeback, when BTS moved on from the School Love trilogy they debuted with. It not only brought them popularity domestically but also internationally. It's part of the BU storyline. Let's see what i can explain. First you see, every member has a person (a girl that's replacing the members), it happens during one timeline where Jin doesn't want to try anymore and wants to live differently (I won't explain it in details cuz spoilers). So he wanted to try dating, every member is doing that and in someway replacing the members (jungkook-yoongi) (V-RM) (Hobi-Jimin) and Jin is alone as he's the main character here doing everything. When the girl dies, he realises that trying to be someone else for love will he futile and the time stops and rewinds. The cycle of regression starts again, that's why you see everything is rewinding and starting from the beginning. This is the lore for the MV only. The details are much deeper and complicated, i won't be able to explain the whole thing here but there is a BU storyline explanation video available on YT and if u don't have enough time to actually connect the dots with only clues and no help, it's better to just watch the video. I love Jungkook’s voice, as vocal coaches have said, JK has clear pristine voice. He can match all member’s voice, one of the reasons he was given the official title main vocal and debuted at age 15. He has 3 pages of credits to his backing vocals. I love Jin’s silvery voice. I love V’s baritone, jazzy sexy voice and Jimin’s distinctive unique voice.

I love this song and the lyrics, ugh. The mv is fanmade and the scenes are from the "bts universe" aka the fictional storyline that runs throughout their albums and mvs. (spoilers)But put simply, its about jin being stuck in a time loop endlessly trying to save all his friends, and failing every time. (His friend group ends up split apart, in jail, or dead by committing suicide in every single time line) until jin realises he cant save anyone till he fixes his own life and loves himself first. Cue him starting with his own problems and finally saving all the members one by one, and coming clean to them about his time travel journey. This is a very simplified version of events though and the story is still ongoing (most likely will be concluded in 2025 with the hyyh 10yr anniversary project) and its definitely worth checking out if youre a bit of a nerd that likes lore and more cinematic mvs. Also yes jin!!! Hes a phenomenal actor and its something that will be VERY prominent throughout the BU mvs and short films. You can really tell theres crazy talent and potential there, especially his infamous "eye acting"

Such a poignant visual and lyrical telling of the struggles of how to truly let your walls down and trust in love and why it's important not to leave it too late. This song has to be one that everyone should really listen to. Sung so beautifully by all, it's a real tear jerker.

@@wrighteousjso basically every bts album has 1 - 3 music videos some has less some has more especially if you factor in members solo mixtapes and albums but the average amount is 3 so most of bts songs don't have a music video. and the have eps and albums so it could be 5 songs on a ep and 1 - 3 music videos so most of the songs have a mv or it could be a full album where there's like 9 -13 songs without mv. also if you have the time I suggest reacting to more information videos like boracity magazine and bts hardships 2013 - 2021 by xceleste you'll understand bts so much deeper in another way. because you have the unique experience of understanding them as artists and will get a even better understanding of them by knowing their story, hardships and different topics boracity covers in relation to bts :)
Theres a kdrama called 'Begins Youth' that is an adaption of the BTS BU storyline if you come across it and want to delve into it, I highly recommend. Its a fantastic drama, all the actors were superb. I wish it had been released on proper streaming channels.

Only J-Hope and Jimin liked the same girl, so all the other girls were different. JK was in an accident so that's why he was in a wheelchair in the hospital. The 2 you don't see but they reference is RM with the rubber band of the set of books, RM sees a girl reading on a bus and wants to give her something for her hair so he buys a small band to giver her, and Suga meets this girl how helps him stop smoking, she plays the guitar and she is holding his lighter that is what JK sees when he is in the hospital. Jin though is the crux of this story he meets a girl when she loses her diary at a train stopping, he reads it and starts dressing like her perfect man then gives her back her diary. In the process she gets run over, and he IS the monster he keeps going back in time to fix her dying but can never fix the problem if one person lives another dies and every time he goes back he loses a memory. Now listen to the song again.

The BU storyline is mixed into this a bit and it is fictional. and some of those pictures were from The Bangtan Universe and were put into this video. They don't have any reference to their real life. It's a storyline that was put into earlier music. You might like to try out "I Need You Girl" for a little more clarity on this fictional story from the Bangtan Universe. When he saw the girl about to get hit his thought was to turn back time. There's quite a lot of depth and storyline to there music. Anyways it is more than understandable that you were a bit confused. Definitely always appreciate your reactions to BTS thank you
