This is a video on how I made my first washi tapes! I go through how I found my supplier on Alibaba.com and a quick tutorial on the design. I hope it helps!

Some additional questions you can also add or send at a later time:
- I was also wondering if I could get a process photo to make sure the colors are right before the tape goes to mass production.
- Can I also get some videos or photo samples of some cartoon washi tape that you’ve printed?

Out of curiosity, from owning a photography studio, is your computer set for Grey balance? It will help accuracy in color immensely. I also painted my computer/design area neutral Grey to help keep reflections off the screen. Other colors in the area can cause color bounce onto screen. Just a random thought that may help if you’ve continued to have the color issues after this order :)
What app you use to make washi design?
Do you ever have trouble with blurry images when uploading your design to Alibaba chat? I'm having trouble and I can't tell if maybe the chat shows it as bad quality, but maybe the file was recieved as good?
Is there any manufacturer that is within the US?
Thank you so much for this video! Do you have any advice on the colours? I ordered washi tapes for the first time, they arrived today but everything came out too dark too. I'm not sure if I should have adjusted my colours before sending it to them, or if something went wrong in the printing process? Would love to know how you handled that in your subsequent washi tapes.
You might have to convert your design to CMYK before sending--try asking your supplier if that is what they need. :)
@@Lissbirds I created my files in CMYK and sent them to supplier in CMYK.
@@cutestickersonly Oh, I see. Something may have gone wrong, or maybe the manufacturer just isn't that good? Who did you order them from? You might have better luck with someone else.
What about those who design stuff on procreate? How do I go about transferring over to PS?
