    Thanks, great video. As a recommendation I would be helpful to add what type of brushes you’re using in the description please… I can never find the right option!

      Thank you so much😊 and I really appreciate the recommendation!! In this tutorial I’m actually using one of my brushes I made for lettering because it hides the shaky lines 😅 You could also use the Monoline brush that comes with Procreate under the Calligraphy set. Here’s a link to the one I’m using in the video: designbundles.net/af/2048331-lettery-smooth-brush-for-procreate-lettering?ref=dH1t9v

I have learnt so much from you and I really appreciate it, thank you. This will take my Designs to a whole new level. .I had felt so limited in what I could do on Procreate and knew there must be more. If i may ask, how many previously separated layers can be merged together on one layer? And can you undo already merged layers?

    • @CristinAF
      @CristinAF  Год назад +1

      Thank you!! You can merge all of your layers into one if you like - there isn’t a limit on this. You can undo merged layers by using the undo button BUT that only works if you don’t exit out of the canvas and it will only undo the last steps you did so you’d have to undo other steps also. To avoid that, try GROUPING your layers instead of merging them 😉

    I'm still confused. But what is the difference? It looks like you can do all the same things with the different layer options just in different ways. So how do you no which one to choose? For example when is it best to use each one? Clipping mask is a fancy eraser. Mask is like a cookie cutter and the other one is a cookie cutter too but on the same layer so you can't change it after? Is that right 😅

    • @CristinAF
      @CristinAF  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you for watching and commenting! You are 100% correct! What I love about Procreate is that there are more than one way to do things and achieve the results you want. There is no right or wrong way for any of these if it’s meeting your needs of want you want to achieve. Procreate didn’t always have these features either so those of us who have been using it for years, know steps for getting the same result without the features. So, choose whichever one you’re most comfortable or confident with and play around with the features as you go. ❤

    • @CristinAF
      @CristinAF  3 года назад +1

      You want to make sure the areas are closed up (not gaps in the lines) and try to adjust your threshold. To do that after you color drop, don’t pick your pencil up and slide it to the left. You may need to do that a couple times to determine how much space to fill.
