This key makes the duet more brilliant.. una voce, is already brilliant enough with .. embellishments, in the key of E for me. F makes it wound like a canary should sing Rosina. The coloratura of Callas is exceptional in this. and the ending blows the roof off.
Gobbi does not sound good on this recording at alll... he sounds likes hes pushing and his voice is very tight. he lose the ring in his voice at times toward his upper range
