Schools in Europe are very different from other countries especially India where we come from.
In this video, I share practical details about dutch primary schools in Netherlands. I talk about costs, schedules, uniforms, teaching methods and student evaluation for further studies.

Hi Sweena, welcome (almost) to the Netherlands. It’s a beautiful country and you would love living here. If you are open to Dutch schools you can choose literally any city that you find good with your work location and budget as most Dutch schools are comparable in terms of quality of education. However, we will release a video shortly on the same topic. Good luck with your move.

Hi my kid in 3 years old. Planned for primary dutch school. I will make him to go to toilet but what they will do in school. In india we used to have a lady for those chores but here there is no one like that. What they will do

Shooling is free for every one up till the age of 16. a minimum of 10 years of education is mandetory . you skip school more than ones your parrents get a fine .

@@namasteamsterdam6958 I went to dutch shools my self.. there is quite a long history about schooling in the netherlands ( europe ) dating back to Karel de Groote /charlemagne ever child must have an education . as he wanted an educated population so it would be economic and invotive to adapt to new eras .
If interested there are some great series about the history of the netherlands , all in comic book form ,
A series of books called van nul tot nu , it explains alot about dutch history , education social isues of the times . Its fun to read as it has humour but also tons of history explained in simple and fun way.
I have 2 elder children who went to Gymnasium secondary school. We had to pay "eigen bijdrage." And for some school trips also. Also for special stuff for math for example. Or for example for "aardrijkskunde' an encyclopedie. So it was not free at all. Also for trips. Like some were in to Berlin etc. So maybe its not in all scools or times have changed. My 2 youngest have to go the secondary, but luckely not yet. But its something you have to inform yourself about 😉
