I think she was still distracted by that pink bag or something else in the car because she did actually get back onto dry asphalt on a generally straight part of the offslip, and still drifted to the right and back onto the dirt. It was not a violent steering input that upset the balance of the car.
It was broadcast both on TV and this RUclips livestream, but after they were notified that the suspect died, they went back to cut the portion when she lost control and hit the underpass pillar.
That’s not full chase, put the end back on, it’s not like it’s gory or you can’t find it elsewhere- your footage too. Good example to show my son why not to do dumb s### in cars.

I’m very impressed that Air7 still had the live feed working going into Kern County especially in an area where ABC7 is not even available in the area that the driver turned around back onto I-5. Nobody there would have known this was even happening.
my wife and I were 5 miles ahead of them when they crashed. we were driving from bakersfield to LA and saw the bird and patrols pass us going NB we put this on and she literally drove thru and down the grapevine and back up before we could even come down on the santa clarita side. she was going FAST.

I hope she was alone in that car, and I'm grateful she didn't hurt any bystanders in that insane chase. It's unfortunate for her and anyone who cared about her that she died, but it's important to remember she could have stopped that car anytime (or not have jacked it to begin with) - and lived.

I had seen this from other live streams and yes unfortunately the pursuit had ended terribly. That is why the stream had ended abruptly. All I can say is it was a stupid way to reach the end of the line over a stolen vehicle. I hope everybody who did watch the end from other streams let that ending sink in very deep. Then again, some choose not to learn and end up doing the same and ended the same.
