You did such a great job at interviewing! You know so much about the songs they have written and it feels like you put in some work and effort into preparing for this interview. Professional interviewers should learn from you, that's how it's done! Btw i love this kind of content. It's fun and interesting to see different kinds of professionals talk about kpop. Keep up the great work! I love how your channel didn't become "too mainstream" (like more about quantity instead of quality or only reactions to popular songs) even though you have sooo many followers now (it's crazy!). You guys are awesome!
Thank you, that means a lot to me! (Before interviews, I listen to the songwriters music repeatedly and look at their past interviews to make sure I don’t ask then a question they’ve gotten 1000 times before haha). And hopefully i’ll keep improving the more interviews I do! I’ll continue to do my best to stick to my original vision for this channel 💪🏻 thank you for your support!!! ❤️
That's really interesting when they talk about the line distribution, when it comes to line distribution everyone already have negative perception over who gets most part, but its actually different in a producer mind. I'm getting so much knowledge from this video
I just can't stop repeating that part :) They talk with soo much enthusiasm about RV's Vocals, like i know they have godly vocals but hearing wonderful praises from the producers/musicians is a different level altogether :)
This interview is SO GOOD!! Even though it’s a 35 minute video, it feels like it was only 10 minutes. I loved how the interview just kept on going and flowed like a river with great questions and answers from Umu and Moonshine. Thank you for this New Year’s gift Umu! 🥰😁
I will never look at dtna the same way after this omg this is fascinating Honestly love these guys, so many of my favorite songs came from their minds and it's the first time I'm learning that all of them came from the same people, can't wait to hear more of what they have in store!
Thank u soo much, Umu :) I learnt soo much about the behind scenes with producers and also how much they value Red Velvet as a group... makes me proud of their talents
That was SO interesting, thank you so much Umu to make this happen and I hope you will be able to do many more interviews in the future. I'll definitely keep an eye on them because they made so many of song that I love.
I am glad I watched this interview because they are the people who created few of my favorite songs like Sunny Side Up, Peek-A-Boo, Roomshaker, Dance The Night Away, Moonwalk, Super Car, Young, Punk Right Now. I followed them on Instagarm right away 🙌
Awesome interview. Really good questions, got to get deep into the specifics of how they approach song writing, and how they work. It's just great to listen to people passionate and excited about what they do. You know, I think there might be some demand for content like this as a podcast. You know, musicians nerding out on how they make music, what inspires them, and what they value and focus on in the process. Both behind the scenes and on-stage experiences would be great content. Of course, having musicians show what they are doing could be great video too. No idea how much work all of that is, but just something to think about.
That was a very interesting insight. I am little bit shocked at how much effort goes into those songs. I am a musician myself and stan Twice and Red Velvet so it was double the fun.
Ikr! All they care about is equality irrespective of their Vocal positions and Vocal matching of the song. They don't think once about how the song would change dynamically if some members get parts that doesn't suit them.
omg its so rare to have a kpop producer to have a proper interview thanks to both production team and the interviewer! ps. hi moonshine if you see this just wanted to tell you tag on "sunny side up" is the cutest thing ever
I've got this beautiful, dreamy kind of vibe like I fell in love instantly with WayV's Moonwalk and thought Moonshine also could be involved here... but obviously all of the producers do various moods successfully, so it could be everybody behind... Like EXO's Love Shot is done by those who are behind Overdose or Let out the Beast, wow... So thanks again, I was just curious...

Its good to know that kpop fans gave them the attention they deserve like when he said the fans was thanking them on their Instagram page like its so good to know that cuz they are actually so talented coming up with all that great genius songs👏👏👏
This was really a fun interview to listen to! I like how they appreciate kpop fans giving big kudos to the composers of their faves' songs. Like before kpop, I never really cared about who produced the songs I listen to. It's just the singer and only the singer I focus on and it feels nice to learn a bit about music as i got into kpop.

I always wanted to meet the geniuses, when I listened to songs from super or Way V even NCT listened to their label at the beginning of the songs. Thanks for making such great music.
