Even if his english is not great he managed to construct the perfect answer. I also liked his reply about the question when in wimbledon nadals match was placed on the centre court and ash bartys match was not. He made a comparison between fashion models.

No it isnt. She's no angel but she's absolutely correct here - how do you congratulate and then immediately disparage someone in the very same sentence??? 😂
The Stupidity of these interviewers is bottomless!!!...they're not interested in tennis, their objective is to create a stupid buzz...to ask if a player lost or won a match because his wife or husband started an argument during breakfast...or farted!!...lol...
Some of these questions, mainly Kyrgios, were clips of the players being disrespectful, not the reporters. Kyrgios chugging a beer and ignoring the question during a press conference + talking about hitting Nadal in the chest is rude behavior. Meanwhile, Serena being a drama queen and makes a scene out of everything. The reporter said she made a higher number of errors and double faults on that day, which is a professional comment on the performance as he was talking abt the stats. But she wants to make a scene out of everything and demand an apology. Too entitled
I agree with you about Serena in general, but some of the questions to her were inappropriate. Even after retirement she still has that entitled attitude such as when she got upset cause a restaurant wouldn't serve her when they were closed. You are correct about Kyrigos though.
Actually many questions here were valid, Nadal for one thing always stalls when he's tired, in the 2019 US Open final against Medvedev he did it a lot even on Daniil's serve, and so does Djokovic. And yes, umpires let them get away with it. And that reporter asking Djokovic about hitting someone, welll... A reporter's job is to ask questions, even if it annoys superstars, they are still people, after all. Also, I need a gif with Roddick's reaction, it was perfect lol.
I think while some questions are valid, a lot of it is to cause some “controversy” and stir up the tennis news for profit. If questions were asked with more honesty and concern for a player’s emotions then it would most likely be answered back. Many times these reporters come in with an agenda and didnt even watch the match, only know some details and questions they were told to ask. Having these unempathetic hounds ask you questions right after you had a frustrating loss just to get the new buzz is sometimes disgusting. Imagine how tough a player had it when they lose and now imagine how tough it is when someone asks you “how did it feel losing” or even “congrats on winning, what are you doing to prepare for the next match” when clearly you lost. The controversies and issues in the tennis world should be addressed but reporters are about the worst way to get them addressed.
@@KakinTseGamePlayerI mean controversy (to a healthy extent) sells. If all the questions were "Nice win, can you describe us the game?" sports would be very boring.
Well while it is a valid question, what mission does it accomplish for you to ask the player that uses that tactic? Especially if they are using it and no one is regulating them and penalizing them for using it. If it is that big of a tactical advantage and yet isn't being regulated by the ATP and the officials who make and enforce the rules, then it's clear it's allowed to an extent. Could you argue maybe there's a bit of favoritism towards the most popular and top players? Sure. But is it up to the players themselves to police themselves? No. Could you criticize them for doing it? Sure. But unless there's going to be something actually going to be done about it, there's no point in bringing it up as a "right or wrong" question to the players because if it works and they're winning and the people at the top aren't telling them to stop, there's nothing that they can do about any of it.
These guys are no different than internet trolls. And they know it - these questions are designed to get the responses they do. When Nadal asked is this question a joke, well...yeah, they are jokes in reality.

Nadal is such a class act and he actually has very good English
The reporters not knowing if a player won or lost the match, is an absolute joke and disgrace
Some reporters are just like politicians
Either they should be fired or their bosses should be for not preparing them. Questions should be based on watching the match.
