I would totally recommend it, but there will for sure be more videos about it when I go to install the 4l65e tranny and how to set up the tranny on the handheld.
Well I can’t say if it’s any better then the terminator as I have never had a Holley harness before, but I can say that the Fitech is a pretty good bang for its buck. I find it very easy to use the handheld to change parameters and when I’ve had an issue I can’t seem to figure out the tech line has always been able to help. I’d say buy what’s ever in your budget but for me I would definitely buy a Fitech again
well I will have to go Fi-tech on 1977 c10 with a 2000 Silverado 5.3 and 4l60e, as it ran fine just last week I took off fast and now the ECM has no mil light, and I had another ecm, and still no light, and no start, and I feel I can trouble it better with the Fitech 70051, just need to know again - as I still have the truck injectors so I will have to change the wires, this video has helped me make that decision as the cost to see the HP programmer for anything is costly... any other pointers for me
Hey, the Fitech is definitely on the cheaper side of things cost wise, only pointers I can think of if your going to go with Fitech is making sure when you’re doing your initial set up to make sure you send every parameter you change to ECU, also if your running a 4l60e to send all that info to the ECU as well and to go into up/down shift and send every line that says 0 to ecu, this will let the ecu know to how to shift with different percentages of throttle, 0 equals out to 100% line pressure in the tranny and the higher you make the number the more percentage it would bleed off so 1 would be 99% line pressure, 0 will be a firmer shift but definitely a great place to start. If I think of anything else I’ll let you know!
@@avatarstore we just put the map sensor where the factory one was, just the hole needs to be drilled to fit it, and there shouldn’t be much different from the 5.3 to a 6L just different parameters to set in the ecu
@@TuquesNTires to drill that hole bigger - did you have to take off the intake to make sure nothing fell in,, what precaution did you take? and again I thank you for answering my questions
@@avatarstore so it would probably be a good idea to take the intake right off to do it but I just took the throttle body off and stuck a vacuum in there well I drilled it, I figured the truck intake is only plastic so if some shavings fell in it would probably be fine, do it at your own risk I guess, no problem, good luck with your project!
There is a forum online that’s should have them or there’s a Facebook group that’s for ultimate LS that has them, or you can call Fitech and they can send you the files.

Is the Fitch any better or worse than the terminator? The price is definitely much better than the x max.
