- Here's a quick run down of what the Battlescroll has in store for us! Some good, some bad, but a lot of the same.
*Correction* - The Tzeentch Blue/Brimstone Horrors are not battleline, they're just cheaper screens!

I was just about to say: “the skaven player forgot about the rats !!!” 🐀 😂. They had to have had the biggest points drop, and on so many good things.
I’m going to play my first cities game in two years on Saturday but thankfully I only run my old empire knights and new Wildercorps so my army mostly dropped points! 😊
Thank you for that overview ! I completely agree on what you said at the end of the video. There are more issue with battle tactics being to easy for some armies and almost impossible for others than units. And yes : Merciless blizzard is absurd and everybody i know recognize it since the launch of the season. The Kharadron's nerf seems messy in my eyes : everything was nerfed without regarding the use of each unit. Skywardens, for example, didn't deserve +10 points (perhaps they could even deserve -10 points). Pretty happy for Skavens as well : Thanquol was overpriced (still is in my opinion but at least we can give him a try). Point drops on Verminlords, on Warplighting cannon and on moulder units is ice on the cake !
Hey Jordan, thanks for the video. I appreciate the breakdown. One other somewhat significant change for Soulblight that you didn't mention was that for their trait that lets them resurrect destroyed units they made it so that it always happens on a 4+. It used to happen on a 3+ on your turn and 4+ on your opponent's turn. So a minor nerf.
They didn't change that one! That's from the update a while back. The FAQ says to change the wording on the last two paragraphs, but the part that says you get +1 to the roll in your movement phase is in the first paragraph which didn't change!

The Tzeentch Horrors change is a weird one. It reads as if they've made this change to force you off of split and split again. Because it can be read as if a pink splits into blues, that unit no longer fulfills the requirement for it to be considered battleline. I wonder if we'll get an faq
Looks like they updated and scrapped that battleline change anyway...

@@Vortid right...but that has nothing to do with what I said. So I'm confused about what you're talking about. A unit of pink horrors is battleline if it doesn't contain any blues or brims. So if you use split and split again, the unit now contains blues and possibly brims, so it's no longer battleline. I'm sure it's not intended that way, but maybe it is. It atleast creates the question which is a problem.
Plague monks now are unit of 20....
They are 20 now! Blocks of 60 with a Furnace nearby could be a thing, but just not my style; that's a lot of points in a single Plague Monk unit.
Rat ogres any chance at playable now that ogres and moulders both went down?

What are you most excited about?
The Wizard Finders battalion is REALLY REALLY good, so that's one thing to get excited about. On the flip side my big Verminlords are Wizards, so I know the pain is coming.
Where do you see all these changes?

You red Tzeentch horror battleline rule wrong, didn't you? But they decreased the non-pink cost by a lot
Correct on the Tzeentch! I'll add a little note, they're just cheap screen units, but don't count as battleline.
