Great video and this looks like a great brewer which I would love to buy so many options with your own coffee and it looks so much easier than filling those reusable k-cups!
My 1st non Keurig model and after a week, I still love it! One thing I did, since I have a bad habit of breaking things, is to buy a spare coffee grounds holder from the Ninja web site since I only use my own grounds. And as it is vital piece in the chain and seems able to bust a side when I wash it out, I thought it'd be wise to do so.

My siblings got this for me as a present! my one little con would be the length of the power cord. I like having everything on my "coffee bar" but the length of the power code is most def for on-the-counter

Thank you for a great review...SOLD! Rec'vd it the following day. I think it comes down to taste preference. This said, I have a Nespresso and it's really not fair to compare the two, because there is NO comparison. So, I'll compare to my Ninja Dual Brew. The first issue I noticed with Pods, I use a large cup, which I learned holds 16 oz. I used 2 Pikes Peak pods with frothed half & half. VERY watered down from what I'm accustomed to (used 8oz setting per directions and same amount of cream I used with previous machine & grounds). Poured out. Used filter with max scoops of coffee, better. Today used Illy Intenso pods x 2 with less frothed half & half. Better. There's a taste curve when you come from a traditional coffee maker and definitely if you've used a Nespresso,. The pods available for this don't come close to Nespresso coffee, which is incredibly rich, creamy and delicious. Nespresso also creates a beautiful foam (double wall glass cups are a must!). I was hoping to just 'pop a pod' & skip the grounds, but it looks like I'm back to grounds with this baby. I do like the sleek design and that it doesn't take up much counter space. That said, if you LOVE a GOOD cup of coffee, Nespresso is the way to go. Nespresso is in a class of it's own, but it's good to have a back-up. Price difference between pods and Nespresso..Nespresso pods are $1.25 each, Starbucks French Roast $0.73, Illy Intenso $0.94. If you LOVE a GREAT cup of morning coffee, Nespresso is the way to go. Ours came with a hot/cold frother so you can make a variety of coffees and Nespresso has seasonal flavors that are SO GOOD! You'll skip the coffee joint! We always order one sleeve of the newest flavors and rarely do they disappoint. And thankfully, their pods are now available at Walmart, so if you run out, you have a back-up! Thank you again for your review. You sold me! This will due as a back-up, but I'm sticking with the rich, delicious, creaminess I get from my Nespresso. 😌

Thank you! I am always looking for a bit of everything in one product. Have looked at nespresso, L’O r and kuerig iced and this does it all. I love being able to add grounds. As I like my coffee strong.
Update: I purchased the nespresso vertuo instead and I love it so much more. I would recommend everyone try the nespresso vertuo if you don't like the bitter coffee from drip style coffee makers.

@@raleemay So here's an update, I actually returned the Ninja and purchased a Nespresso Vertuo instead! The nespresso makes the coffee so much better, if you can I would recommend getting that one instead. The K-cups aren't as flaborful as the nespresso pods in my opinion

I have a Nespresso..no comparison right?! Keeping this as my "Emergency" maker. I'm sure that with the Nespresso you've noticed the difference between the coffees. Nespresso is incredibly rich and creamy in comparison to the K-cups. Glass double walled mugs are a must! Now you'll never be able to drink a K-Cup or drip coffee again! LOL! Love my Nespresso! Also love that if I ever run out, Walmart sells their pods now! ;)
I just bought this today and am so excited to try it.
I wanted this coffee maker. Ninja does the old bait and switch when you try to buy it. They say free shipping but when you put it into cart and put your payment info in, just as cart updates they want to charge me $21.00 shipping to my USA address. Every time I try, any day, any computer, the same thing. When I called to complain they gave me a code number supposedly to buy it, pay for shipping, then call back later and be reimbursed for shipping. This is about as stupid a business practice I've ever seen. The people on the phone don't know why this happens, they actually said this to me, not, we'll figure out whats going on. REDICULAS!

You're absolutely right. That is ridiculous. They count on people not to notice or just forget to call back for the shipping refund. I hate tactics like that. What a stupid policy. I hope they lose lots of sales because of that. Thanks for the heads up.

Another update...still LOVE it, but mine seems to have prostate issues. After finishing a brew, it will continue to drip for over one minute. So now I just keep a shot glass next to it to catch any drips.....easy peasey. BTW JAD, I am really enjoying YOUR ground coffee!

Good coffee machine waterfall
PB501 in daily use since 9 Jan 2024. The clean light indicator has never come on during these 4 1/2 months of use, estimate daily 12 8oz cups of coffee. So, the Ninja has performed approximately 1,620 8oz cups of coffee with no indication to perform a clean cycle. Previous coffee maker manufacturer clean cycle was every 300 or so cups between cleaning operations. What gives with the Ninja?
Can you use espresso grounds for the specialty brew or will it not brew with finely ground espresso?
Amazon has these in several different colors for $79 . Our Kureig broke after less than a year ,they rarely last more for a few years, so I definitely will be getting this. Thanks for the great review.
regualar coffee is fine, if the coffee is too fine it will overflow the filter bakset because the water can not drain out fast enough. but you can try it

I wish there were paper inserts for the coffee filter. It’s a pain to clean and I know it probably won’t last. It makes really good coffee though, and you don’t even need the rich setting.
