I hope you know your Life Insurance connected to your mortgage has the Financial Institute as the beneficiary not your family. Check the fine prints and be sure you have the coverage you think. In the event you pass on the bank gets their money for your house and that's it nothing is giving to the children or spouses

With a life insurance policy, you select the amount you want to be paid out. Mortgage life insurance, however, is a decreasing policy that only pays off the remaining balance on your mortgage. If you opt for standard life insurance, the mortgage balance will be paid off from the life insurance payout, with any remaining funds going to your family. As long as the coverage amount exceeds the mortgage balance the surplus will be given to your family.

The 4th month we came in my husband got stroke, a very serious one, since then my life has become something else. The school withrawn their sponsorship because their student( my husband) is in hospital and cant attend school, i have 2 kids to take to school, I have bills to pay . I don't know how to work and look after my kids, they keep telling me we have no access to public funds.....
You need to find sponsorship yourself for the family i advise health care as a carer because you can easily get it if you are in uk alrwady, but remember the children if they are very young do you have a support sysytem like very reliable friends to help you on the days you will be working

Sorry for the late response. It was the lowest cover of 40,000 pounds for 16 pounds monthly. So my family was to get that if I died suddenly or within a certain number of years. After a while, I realised that wasn’t the best insurance package as I should’ve gone for one that covered out of Job for illness or accident. I made enquiries and that one will cost 35 pounds monthly both for illness and life insurance as it’s combined. Age and current health situation also plays a role. You will be asked lots of questions to determine your monthly fee.
