You are so right Tochi. Charity shops and Aldi has been saving us money since we got here for months now. And we're trying to move to a place where accommodation is cheaper than where we are currently. You said it all and I got value! Much love ❣️
Book your holidays by the end of January for the year. Most airlines do good deals. You have the money, and you need to treat yourself to a nice wrist watch. Check Harrods' January sales. When they say half price, it's truly half price. If you use public transport, trave between 9.30 and 4pm. Or weekends. Do not respond to all parties' invitations as fuel is too expensive.
Great video other ways: -using cashback sites can help to save money -Rent a extra room in your apartment -Find neighbours that are child minders instead of sending your child to day care (they are usually cheaper rates they offer) -Learn your childs curriculum instead of paying tutors to teach them so you can teach them yourself
Tochi don become pro with dis information tin Ooooooo. I was simply mesmerised as she transited from one point to another. Moreover, they are indeed useful tip for the wise.
Hi Tochi, thank you very much or this tips. But I want to ask if you can kindly do a video on cities in the UK from low cost to higher so that new immigrant or aspirants can be educated before and after landing. Thanks I advance.
@@elisanmironke4882 They’re cards the store gives to you to earn points which builds up till you can purchase with it or some helps you get some amount off the item you’re purchasing
A lots of ways to save money in the UK rewards cards, charity shops, open markets, buying on sales ...all these and lots more you have mentioned here help a lot. I am a professor in switching off lights and sockets lol. Can you review Moneybox app please.
Very informative video from my madam👍👍 I took out a pen and paper and noted ur points down this will come in handy as I trust God to make my UK journey a reality.
I totally agree with buying in bulk. I had to get a Costco card. So once in a while I get a lot of stuff there at wholesale prices and share the things and costs with my neighbours and friends.
Even in Nigeria,I turn off the light to the extent a friend came around and asked Me why our house is always dark🤣🤣🤣,she didn't get the memo. Thanks for letting us know these points.
I can relate ma’am, some people will even be like are you managing light lol, I mean why will I leave the light on in broad daylight….. Thanks for sharing these tips mommy Tochi 😂, I can’t wait to make my way to UK 🇬🇧 (by the special grace of God) and started utilizing it already
Very helpful indeed, all information on point, being a handy man yourself and and learning to cut and make hairstyles yourself are very needful abroad!
Tochi, people here don't bath o. Buying their used clothes, especially for kids, hmmmmmmmmm mbanu. Asda and aldi, which is more cheaper? Another thing I found out is that things go bad in the fridge here. It's so annoying and then the freezer compartments, not much to put in there. God is our strength.

Thank you so much for the video Tochi, please what is your advice for a new immigrant coming into Taunton Somerset, any idea of cheaper places for shopping? Is it an expensive city to live?
Thank you for sharing I have about 2 shopping bags in my work bag I go shopping most times after work on Friday. Aldi is far from my place so I shop from Asda and in Asda I try to go for just essential products by Asda or any Asda product. The just essential products are in yellow packs I save more that way. I have applied for my blue light card as an NHS staff, I will start using it soon and I will get a discount when I use it at some stores. For Asda it is 10% discount
Yeah, Essential products from Aldi too are way the cheapest. I always make sure I buy their products. Imagine their loaf of bread for .39p while others are from £1
She also forgot buying homeware essentials from car boot sales especially if u live in the Surrey during summer. Different families remove all they don't need and sell cheaply esp children's books, toys and clothes from big parks
Hi Tochi good day. I learnt that one can not study abroad with October/november waec ssce (GCE). Only may/june is acceptable overseas. How true is this information.
There’s also a housing crisis in England so it is increasingly difficult. But you’ll find somewhere soon. You can try spareroom. If you’re looking for a bedroom
