That's really legit you did it the right way and the car looks amazing. I got my 4 door eg project going i spent 300 on the complete car. The outside was a disaster all the panels were wrecked besides the doors and the rockers. Ive got it down to basically a frame luckily it was virtually rust free besides a small spot in the trunk and i should be ready for paint by the end of the week. My plan is to grab a k20 from a civic out of the local junkyard there's tons of them sitting around complete long block by me goes for $250. Selling the accessories and the d16y7 from the original chassis should cover the costs of the new engine and the original cars purchase price. Unfortunatley I work full time so its taken me about 6 months jus to get this far my plan is to finish the rest of the build by the end of the year or at the worst within the next 2 years so I can have a new daily when my wrx lease ends. appreciate the video gonna check out the rest of your stuff gave you sub love to see the honda builds across the pond.
Hey man thanks for the kind words. i have a full time job and a little one to look after! just do one job at a time and it will come together its taken me over a year to do the swap. parts sound cheaper in the states!
I got mine off eBay from a breakers Value wise it’s hard to say depending on condition and mileage. But at a general price 900 for a k24 and 1300 for a k20
I've just seen it on eBay and have been looking into these for the past couple days wanting one. I'm not sure whether its worth me buying one built like yours or i do it with help as i don't know much about the mechanics and what id need
Hey To be honest it’s much easier to buy one done the price for parts just keeps going up. I’m not just saying this because mine is for sale. If you look up some of those parts now there a lot more
That's a clean build at a very sensible price. Nice work
Thanks 👍

Nice
I could eat my dinner off that Civic is how clean it is! 😮
Thanks mate
clean and neat car man! btw is it possible to do this on a MK9 honda civic 2012-2016 model?
It is possible, it really just boils down to how much you want to spend. Would probably be cheaper to just my a type R
What are the good sources to buy the used K20/24?
What are the price range for these engines
I got mine off eBay from a breakers
Value wise it’s hard to say depending on condition and mileage. But at a general price 900 for a k24 and 1300 for a k20
where can i buy a full size radiator like yours for my 96 rhd jdm ek5 civic
I got mine from tegiwa
Or if you search ep3 civic radiator
Am i right in thinking the 2.4 accord is the K24?
Yes, there are still different varieties of that engine but yes some are from the accord.
If I get the engine form CRV, can I use the CRB manual gear box for the swap? Great car
Are you changing the head and doing a k24 swap? If so you want a ep3 box really
