My family's all Ohio State fans and I'm the only Michigan fan so for years watching Ohio State and Michigan play with my family has been rough it's a good feeling they finally won

Yes it was. We were sec 36. We willed our team to a much needed victory. The snow helped us also. We would've won if Sun was shining also but weather played a part.

It was a whole decade since we last won this game. We were tired of them running their mouths like they owned us. We showed them that this is our house, and OSU isn't owed anything from us. Emotions really fueled this game. I wish you could have been there along side me as we rushed the field. Sidenote: We have the biggest football stadium in the country and it was LOUD (111,145 people were in that stadium). Michigan also has more wins all time than any other football program. But we faded into mediocrity for far too long. They were counting us out from the beginning of the year (we weren't even ranked). Now everyone's got a Michigan problem starting with the Hawkeyes next week. Love the commentary!!! Go Blue!

I've stood at the top and watched games, and I've been in the front row. I was at row 75 in the corner for this game, pretty much 3/4 of the way up and thought I had the best seat in the house.
The weather was perfect for a football Saturday in November. The snow falling, especially at the end of the game and after, gave it a bit of storybook magic. Michigan is the better team, the suckeyes were rattled both by us in the crowd and by our players themselves basically from the opening drive. Our guys were tougher, meaner, and knew what they needed to do to win. Their guys were entitled. They thought they were anointed a victory in this game and didn't know what to do when Michigan answered their first touchdown with a touchdown of their own. When Michigan came back for another score right after half, the game was well over. I have to think that was one of the loudest, if not the loudest, crowds for a football game ever. We were crazy. Best sports experience ever. Michigan fans finally relearned how to act at these games, and it was great to see.
Yes it was extremely loud, even with earplugs my ears were still ringing long after the game, I was down on the sideline on the field, the wind was brutal and the snow was right in your face, I would not call it perfect weather it was freezing I didn’t have the luxury of being up in the stands squashed like a bunch of sardines with a bunch of bodies keeping you warm. Out of the hundreds of sporting events I’ve worked this is probably one of the best
MSU had some help from the zebras. Sometimes you have to overcome both your opponent and officiating incompetence 🙄 and things just don’t work out. Hutch’s sack/fumble recovery/ TD should have counted.
As a Michigan fan rewatching it just shows how it was never really in doubt but when I was watching it live I thought we were gonna loose till that last scoring drive

As a maize and blue fan I loved this game. Was great being able to rush the field. We havent had a reason to do that in a long time. and also that wasnt cold lol took my kids to their first mich vs osu game and its something they will remember

This game was so beautiful. I haven’t seen them play this well in years. I was at the game and it was just an indescribable feeling to be there and see it in person. Just absolutely incredible. I wish I would have run on the field but I was with my dad and he really just wanted to head out but just seeing everyone run out onto the field and just being in the stands screaming and jumping around. I’ll never forget it. My dad had to park in a neighborhood nearby and when we were on our way back to the car there was a lady who stuck her head out of her door to ask if we froze in the stadium and I said hell no! We were jumping around and screaming the whole time, we stayed warm!!
I was at this game, it was absolutely electric. Only games I can compare it to are others against OSU. The 97’ Game was amazing, but it was 24 years ago & I was a lot younger. Not even this years Big 10 Championship can compare to the atmosphere of the Big House on the 27th. Both games will be something I’ll never forget.
I was in attendance which I go to plenty of games, but I've never been to "The Game". The atmosphere was amazing!!! Even though it was 28 degrees and snowy. That is the loudest I've ever heard the big house!!! GO BLUE
@@coryaustin4474 That was in Iowa City. The games between these teams have historically been a home team win. Iowa won't have the home field advantage which I believe means a lot more to them then it does to us. I do expect a Kurt Ference team to come ready but Michigan will be more than they can handle indoors. Michigan by 17.
@@chaebaljon I think Michigan will win but I expect another tough, gritty effort from Iowa. They may even beat the 10.5 point spread. But I'm gonna stick with my prediction of Michigan +17....27-10....34-17....somewhere around those scores which ...depending on how the game progresses... wouldn't necessarily be a "blow out". That rarely happens to a Ference coached team and I don't expect that to happen Saturday.
Honestly, Ohio States issues on offense were blocking and play calling. CJ was good, receivers were making plays. But penalties would back them up and then they would do a running play the next play every single time and it never worked
@@chaebaljon Michigan Stadium has a shared tunnel to the locker rooms so they have to go in at the same time. They started yelling and flipping each other of. Just look up Michigan vs Ohio state halftime and I think you could find it.
Ah! Yeah I always watch the Iowa game first! I saw the Wisconsin Minnesota game afterwards and I'm glad we're going to the Big Ten Champsionships! Buuuuttt, we're probably gonna get our asses kicked by Michigan haha!
It was clear early in the season Ohio State needed a new defensive coordinator. This game only confirms it. Hopefully Ryan Day goes all out and hires the best option possible because Ohio State was exposed today and it's been a problem they have had 3 out of the last 4 seasons. Michigan was able to replace their coordinators and look how quickly they rebounded. Ohio State can do the same thing. Marcus Freeman seems like the best choice if he is willing to leave his current position for a pay raise and a chance to coach his former team he played on. Michigan was ready for Ohio State and wanted this win more. They played hard and deserve this victory. Best of luck against Georgia in the CFP as your road to the finals should be fairly easy. Down year for Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson, and Ohio State but all should be back to speed next season (except Oklahoma). Hopefully Ohio State gets to play Alabama in a bowl game.
