I remember watching in a theater in 1994 once it began I never wanted it to end. JCVD & John Woo was a petrol meet fire combination. What a filming style the action begins in slow motion and hits real time the picturesque effect is something to be seen to believe. How i had several ideas for a part 2. So unfortunate when it was finally released with Scott Adkins it was the most damaging disrespect to it. Hollywood did not let John Woo stay else we would have seen some more memorable action films of the good old times...sighh :(
