    Thank you for this video; my first thought as I seen it it wrote him I thought. Oh my goodness what if their tongue got stuck in between the rotation, so I think you clarified it with the pet so I feel a little better I just placed my order and I’m using it for my puppies I work 12 hours and I don’t want them to miss the meal again thank you.

    How easy is it to pop off the lid? I have a very aggressive and smart cat when it comes to food and so I need something that he couldnt hack. Im also wondering if hed be able to rotate the inner tray in order to spin it on his own.

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Год назад

      It latches so I personally think it would be very hard for a cat to undo the latch. I don't see them being able to move the tray either as that is hard to spin because of the motor resistance. Maybe if you had it on a table and they knocked it off from a high point it could pop open, but that might break it too.

    Thank you for the video. Can ice packs in the automatic feeder keep food at refrigerator temp (40F) or cooler for 6-8 hours?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Год назад +1

      I didn't test the temperature of the food, so not really sure. This would also depend on how hot the room is, direct sunlight, etc. so you would have lots of variables that can affect the temperature.

    Are you still using this device? I'm thinking of getting the new version that connects to wifi/an app for a 1.5 day trip. How long do the ice packs stay frozen in real life? (I'm trying to figure out many hours of cooling I could get by freezing the food combined w/ the ice packs)

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  10 месяцев назад +2

      I am and I would say the ice packs last a day under normal room temperature and away from sunlight. I have not tried freezing food, so not sure on that front. If they have a new ones with wifi and an app that would be great as it can be a pain to set the timer.

    I just purchased the FW-13 WiFi 6 Meal Automatic feeder (Donut Frost). I want to use it without the cord as I have to be gone for a day and she will chew on the cord. I have charged it and then unplugged it to test it manually but how do you get the time to display on the front so it can be set to manually rotate feeders throughout the day? I have pressed / held both of the side arrows and even the center circle but it only will lock the device. Does this not have a clock on the front to manually set?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Месяц назад

      It has a digital screen that sets the clock and feeding times.

    I must have bought an older model. No ice packs and I just use wet food. Do I need to return what I bought for newer model? Also, how do I charge it?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Год назад

      If you want the ice packs I would say so since yours doesn't have them. There is a USB plug that you use to charge it, which I show in the video.

    Does this need to be reprogrammed for meals when the feed cycles are complete, or does it remember it?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Год назад +2

      It remembers it after the 7 day cycle as it just keeps going. If it loose battery life I noticed it will have to be reprogrammed.

    Hi! Can I control this with my phone using an app with WiFi or something? If so, can I trigger it to feed with a manual click of a button on my phone rather than by a timer?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  10 месяцев назад

      No, it is just a timer on the device.

    • @BeardedGuitar
      @BeardedGuitar 9 месяцев назад

      The new model has an app that controls everything...you can manually control it or set exact times when you want the new food to appear. It also sends you an alert when it has spun the new food in place.

    How long did you say the feeder stays charged without being plugged in, I need to be gone 1 and half days

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  3 месяца назад

      Mine would go that long with no issues, however I wouldn't keep food that has to be cold in it that long as I think it would get warm after a day.

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  Месяц назад

      No, it is just a manual timer on the device.

    Is there space for ants and other insects to crawl in?

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  11 месяцев назад +1

      I feel like ants can get into anything so I would say yes. Larger bugs I don't think so, but I have never used it outside.

    Hod you know if you program for 24 or 12 hours? I just want my cat to have food daily at 6am? Thanks for any support.

    • @PUREreviews
      @PUREreviews  11 месяцев назад +2

      It is a 24 hour clock, so if you set it for 6 am and just have that single program it should rotate once a day. If you set it for 6 and 18 it would do twice a day.

    my cat doesn't like eating out of deep bowls, so it would have been good to see the feeder from a level camera view, ie feeder levelled up with the camera so I can see how deep the sections are and the angle the cat needs to reach in at.
