Dany's voice is something else. It gets better and better. Pau is a MONSTER on those drums back there, and is clearly having more fun than should be legal LOL! And Ale's bass - oof. She is NASTY with that thing, and she's still just 19 years old. Great reaction!
Looks like my reaction hit the right notes with a French touch! Thanks for the warning about the amazing 4K quality - now I'm prepared to be blown away!
@@90sGrungeFreak Probably one of the very Best Live Concert recordings ever, simply EPIC! and I have seen many many in over 60 years, 22 songs, 21 originals with superb audio/visual. The Ladies uploaded the entire concert to their channel for all their fans....entire Teatro Met CDMX as must watch.
*Hell You Call A Dream* from Blabbermouth, Dany notes, " *Hell You Call A Dream* tries to express a feeling most musicians find hard to express. When you're touring, you experience the positives, the negatives, and the whole spectrum of emotion all at once. It's about how something you love so much can be something that also weighs you down, but you continue to do it out of love. It's fulfilling, but it's tiring." in the 3point5 interview on twitch, Pau commented about their newly released album, _"Keep Me Fed"_ being the closest they've gotten to the type of music that she would listen to every day... it is their art and their form of expression (TEDx 2017)... for me, the hard, full industrial sound and lyrics of HYCAD are quite expressive of the feelings and emotions one gets at times... considering what HYCAD is talking about, think about when you are involved in a project that you are excited and living for... when being close to completing it, how hectic and chaotic things can get during its assembly... the chaos, apprehension, and anxiety you may feel when many things must absolutely come together... feelings so strong and maybe to the point of overwhelming you where you panic, get lost, feel sick, cannot eat, and need a minute, just one freaking minute, by yourself, to breathe... but you cannot due to the timeline and demands of the mantle you are wearing... a mantle of your own choosing but one that seems to be getting heavier and heavier over time... yeah... Great reaction! I found out about The Warning about 3 weeks ago myself and they blew my mind. Since then, I have been watching everything I can find on the web about them. I found out they're coming to Canada in October and I'm going to see their shows back to back on the 25th in Montreal and the 26th in Quebec City. Can't wait!
Love the excitement. Reminds me of when I first heard them. They all have recent rig rundown episodes of GEAR MASTERS released by Digital Tour Bus. Check them out. I also agree to check out the Tidal Rising documentary. It’s only 20 minutes.
TW are amazing live they always bring the fire so strong on stage. Disciple or Dust to Dust from Teatro Metropolitan has Pau share lead vocals with Dany and take lead solo on D2D both are amazing. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
in the 7 yrs i have been following i am still surprised but how they keep blowing our minds. reason i started following them was because they do what they want creatively and only do what is needed to get a feeling across in a song, not the genre or any of that other stuff. Some of us TWA aslo discovered another band called Freeze The Fall and the guitarists/singer taught herself guitar from a The Warning album
The Warning Effect, the next song you hear becomes your favorite Next up: S!CK the music video even though they just played it on Jimmy Kimmel last week. Disciple at Teatro Metropolitan (plus Z, Animosity....) Enter Sandman Trilogy, their viral video 10 years ago when very young, the music video of the version they did with Alecia Cara for the Black Album, then the live version from Teatro Metropolitan. Que Mas Quieres music video, in Spanish but it rocks and is a great video.
Watch something from the warning every day, you’ll catch up in a couple years. This one is gold, Ale’s lead bass, Danys vocals and Pau’s smile all world class.
Personally, I like their older stuff even more. Check out the Teatro Metropolitan show. Every track is deadly. Dany uses Mesa, Marshall, Black Star or Orange...depending on the venue.
This new album has a lot of mind blowing work on it. Don't pick up on the amp brand. Dany uses a programmable pedalboard full of amp simulations that she adjusts for each section of each song, as needed. She also switches guitars several times during a show, playing what's appropriate for the song at hand. The amp on stage is likely used mostly as a stage monitor and for high gain feedback. The front of house and recorded audio is a two channel feed from the pedalboard and a mic on the amp. There is a Gear Masters Digital Tour Bus video on YT that describes each of their setups in 2022 for the MayDay tour. It's evolved somewhat from that, but based on similar concepts.
This and Automatic Sun are my two favourite songs, Automatic Sun live at the Jimmy Kimmel show is possibly the best performance ever! Remember to pick it up from the band’s RUclips channel, it’s unlikely to get copyright issues. Every new song you hear will be your favourite, just saying 😂 Dany doesn’t use a Mesa amp, just the speaker the head on it is a small lunchbox Orange amp, those amps on stage are only used like monitors for them, they like to feel their own instruments. Dany is using a Kemper stage into the Desk then split and panned with a slight delay on the one side to give a bigger sound. Keep them coming, you’re on your way down the 🐇 🕳️ 😂
the album that hell comes from was just released on june 28th...automatic sun is a must for you next, then just dive in. this album is like nothing ive experianced before and is the warning at their best! check out sharks, and of course six feet deep! enjoy your reactions! @@90sGrungeFreak The song "Ugh" from that same show. Awesome feel to it from Pau on the drums, but the whole song is great. Actually, that whole show is great.
Nice job on the influences trivia! But you did miss one, Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, Lzzy has been a big influence particularly on Dany. TW has toured with Halestorm and imo Dany sings with more grit due to Lzzy's influence. Oh, and Lzzy has also gifted Dany a guitar, a Gibson Explorer!🤘

The girls were sick that night. Especially Pau. And they are performing at damn near 8000 feet above sea level. Absolute PROS
It's amazing how they pushed through despite the challenges!
