Show Yourself? Honestly????!!! It's the best frozen song ever.. It's even better than let it go in my opinion I can never imagine frozen without show yourself
@@1992disney I thought the original was somewhat less overcrowded with songs. They actually usually had more than 3 lines of dialogue between the musical inserts... that almost never happened in the second movie.
3:40 I remember first seeing this song when I got to see the special IMAX rerelease of “Beauty and the Beast” (even though I was only 10 at the time; the original theatrical release came out in late November 1991, one month before I was even born!) and I instantly fell in love with it because it made me connect with the Beast’s servants on a much more personal level. I was so very pissed when they didn’t add the song to Disney+, so whenever I watch this film, I pause it and watch the song on RUclips
*If I Never Knew You* and *Reflection* are two of the *best* Disney songs in their entire repertoire. Those movies would not have been the same without them.
Just a few notes on some of the songs on this list. "Hellfire" should've been cut. I watched the movie the other day and even for someone my age, I thought the song was super creepy. As for "If I Never Knew You", you can still hear the music in the scene but now that I've heard it, they should've kept the whole song in the version of the movie that was originally released. As for seeing "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?", "Reflection", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" and "Part of Your World" on this list, my reaction was simple--WHAT?!
Emm, the song "Hellfire" is *supposed* to be super creepy. It's a song that truly highlights Frollo's obsession with Esmerelda yet also shows that even he has a human side in the fact that, even though he hates her people, he still can't help but lust for the stunning, independent gypsy. It's a truly disturbing song and is, in my opinion, the best Disney villian song to date.
No, Hellfire should not have been cut, for many reasons. First of all, it’s meant for it to be dark. Second of all, the performance that Tony Jay gave in that song is, imo, the greatest performance in a Disney song, due to the fact that there’s so many expressions in his voice. Finally (and this is coming from someone who’s favourite Disney song is Be Prepared), Hellfire is the greatest villain song ever, it’s magnificent. Just because it’s dark, doesn’t mean that it needs to be cut. I was three when I first saw that film, and even then I knew that it was a masterpiece.
Fun fact: Sara leanine hellfire is a villain song You can say be prepared or savages or Garston or poor unfortunate souls should be cancelled if we use your conditions -Be prepared is about a coup ugh,so much violence and a dictatorship propoganda that any rebellion is a bad thing -Gaston is freaking same as hellfire a person obsessing over a girl who hates him -Poor unfortunate souls for showing enslaved souls by a contract -Savages about a natives bad idealogy of white settlers
I can’t imagine they wanted to cut ‘Part of your world’. That is the only Disney song that i can relate to myself and it’s close to my heart. Thank god they kept it. Best decision Ever!
I’m glad they kept Show Yourself that was the best song in the movie and how could you not have Part of Your World in The Little Mermaid that’s one of the best Disney songs ever
I’m so shocked about this list because I can’t believe that these Disney songs were almost cut from their respective movies. However, the fact that “Hellfire” from “The Hunchback Of Notre Dame” almost got cut isn’t really surprising because it reportedly nearly caused the movie rating to bump down from rated “G” to rated “PG”. Thank goodness that not 1 of these Disney songs got cut because their respective movies never would’ve been successful critically nor financially. Also, however, there should’ve been at least 4 or 5 honorable mentions on this list. Please make another list regarding this topic, Ms. Mojo, & include at least 4 or 5 honorable mentions this time around. Then mash them up into a top 20 list, but again, please include at least 4 or 5 honorable mentions. I beg you, Ms. Mojo, please make it happen.
Part of Your World is my favorite Disney song and I am so thankful that it didn’t get cut. It would be awkward to watch the Little Mermaid without that iconic song. Howard Ashman was right. Ariel’s I want song was the one song I had a moment with. I sang that song on my high school theater stage. It felt like my Rachel Berry moment.
Everybody talking about Reflection but can we all take a moment to talk about how Part of your world is literally one of the best disney songs and they wanted to cut it? bruh

Kind of Disney but “When Love Is Gone” from The Muppet Christmas Carol was cut in the theatrical version because the kids in the test audience found it boring. Glad they put it back in for its VHS release.
I can not imagine “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” without hellfire thats the song that shapes the movie and his character. I love this movie and it is nothing like that they make today.
I couldn't imagine Pocahontas without If I Never Knew You it gives me goosebumps everytime Mel Gibson has such a beautiful voice
It's not in the Disney+ version.

Show Yourself? Honestly????!!! It's the best frozen song ever.. It's even better than let it go in my opinion I can never imagine frozen without show yourself
Honestly I wasn't surprised by something from Frozen II ending here. That movie had, like, 3-4 too many songs.
Just like the original.
@@1992disney I thought the original was somewhat less overcrowded with songs. They actually usually had more than 3 lines of dialogue between the musical inserts... that almost never happened in the second movie.

True, "Show Yourself" should've been nominated for the Oscar among other awards.
Top 10 Disney Villians Who Got What They Deserved
Reflection, Bella Note, Aladdin, SHOW YOURSELF AND PART OF YOUR WORLD??? WHAT?! Thank God they left it in!!!!
Best Disney song is Whole New World by Aladdin and Jasmine.
I couldn't imagine a world without Reflection and Show Yourself. My favorite Princess songs.
Thank you to the ones who kept these songs alive. ❤
In all honesty, I can’t imagine our beloved Disney classics without ANY of these songs!!!!
I love Can you feel the love tonight! So romantic 😍!!!
I wish that they had not cut these amazing songs
Fun fact: Sara leanine hellfire is a villain song
You can say be prepared or savages or Garston or poor unfortunate souls should be cancelled if we use your conditions
-Be prepared is about a coup ugh,so much violence and a dictatorship propoganda that any rebellion is a bad thing
-Gaston is freaking same as hellfire a person obsessing over a girl who hates him
-Poor unfortunate souls for showing enslaved souls by a contract
-Savages about a natives bad idealogy of white settlers
These songs (except Frozen🙄) are a classic. So happy that weren’t cut off from the movie. They are a (#1 pun intended) part of our world.
Especially the ones from the Disney Renaissance!
I can’t believe One Jump Reprise almost got cut, actually it’s a shame it wasn’t a more complete song. It’s beautiful.
Hellfire gives me chills
Mojo, you take all the joy out of these top 10 or top 20 lists, by putting the number 1 as the thumbnail!!
I can’t imagine the little mermaid with part of your world
I can’t imagine they wanted to cut ‘Part of your world’. That is the only Disney song that i can relate to myself and it’s close to my heart. Thank god they kept it. Best decision Ever!
Ain’t that the truth.
I’m glad they kept Show Yourself that was the best song in the movie and how could you not have Part of Your World in The Little Mermaid that’s one of the best Disney songs ever
Hellfire is one of my favorite Disney songs, it's so dark and unique. It stands out among the songs. Glad it wasn't cut
Wish that "When Love Is Gone" would be reinstated into future releases from Muppet Christmas Carol. It would've made this list.
It's in the extended
@@thedangerousivy is it in fullscreen or widescreen?
I do not know. I think it was wide screen
Reflection is my favorite disney song wished it was longer
Thank goodness none of these songs were cut! Who knows what would have happened if they were.
Everybody talking about Reflection but can we all take a moment to talk about how Part of your world is literally one of the best disney songs and they wanted to cut it? bruh
I love listening to Disney music there just wonderful and just cool nice
Bedknobs And Brooksticks is Disney? I never knew that
Thank the good that they didn't get cut!! Part of you're World and Reflection are my favorite Disney Songs
I could never imagine the OG Mulan without Reflection or The Little Mermaid without Part Of Your World they're so iconic
1. I'd love to see you guys do a countdown of top 10/20 repurposed Disney songs cause that'd be an interesting list-cause there's a LOT of those
2. It stunned me to see that my favorite scene(the spaghetti scene) featuring my favorite Disney song ("Bella Notte") from my favorite Disney movie/movie in general ("Lady and the Tramp" ) was almost cut.Thank goodness it wasn't cause it wouldn't have been such a bella notte without it.....and THANK YOU FRANK THOMAS!!
Nooo🥺😣
I didn't really like "Human again", I love "Something there" more
Little kid in the front row: Drops his popcorn and is more focused on being a decent human being, cleaning it up and keeping the sweatbox neat, than he is watching the movie.
Jeffery Katzenberg: Welp better cut Part of Your World.
Ron Clements, Jon Musker, Glen Keane, Howard Ashman, Alan Menken, and Jodi Benson: WHAT!?
Sweatbox??
@@evansteiner5520 Yeah that's what they call the test-screening theatre because, in the days of Walt Disney it wasn't air conditioned, and people would be breathing heavy and nervous that they wouldn't like their scenes so yeah they were sweating.
Screw Katzenberg. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like him to attempt to remove my favorite song
@@KARDisney same.
@@KARDisney and get this. Apparently he thought Little Mermaid wouldn't do so great because it was a movie targeted towards girls. Boy howdy was he wrong.
