    The foundation chain can be multiples of 9. Just in case you don't like the extra chains at the end. I hope this helps! :D

    Foundation chain of 126+3 for turning chain is the perfect size for a baby blanket, also it looks better if you double crochet into your foundation chain before beginning the pattern

    I wanted to give this pattern a try, but didn’t want to commit to a big project, so I made a dishcloth. I decided to use a half double crochet just to make it sturdier. It was fun to work and looked great! I’m definitely going to add this to my favorites! 😸🧶😸

      Not dumb at all! On the final row...instead of chains spaces put single crochet into the DC of row below. Double crochet into chain gaps to fill those spaces. A nice finished edge.

    This is a such a gorgeous pattern and amazing teaching ma'am. But there's a confusion about number of rows should be even or odd in numbers?

    • @TubaCrochet
      @TubaCrochet  3 года назад

      hello thank you very much. The number of chains depends on the crochet and yarn thickness used. My suggestion is to make as many chains as possible and as you make the pattern, you can cut the excess chain as you want.

    • @lauriepfantz6293
      @lauriepfantz6293 3 года назад +3

      The number of rows can be any that fits your project. The number of chains or stitches across the row follows the formula of 3 X __ (any odd number) + 2 (for 4th stitches of beginning and end groups) + either 2 or 3 for turning chain. Hope this can help.

    Just a question : how would one go about ending this off? By doing single crochets into the chains and continuing the double crochet into the chains from the previous row as normal?
    I'd like to use the concept for a beanie and scarf set.
