As one myself a completely get it- I started writing something the other week, got all the lyrics written out, knew how it would sound. But when I started playing it a few times the usual looking forward to finishing it wasn’t there anymore. I became bored with my own song, all because of lack of proper inspiration, and because of a line or two in my chorus that had ruined it entirely (sometimes there are only so many words a certain word can rhyme with). I never came back to it, it remains unfinished. I agree, it’s such a shame that this track didn’t make it to the album, but at least it’s here for now 🙂 I think it turned out really nice, but if Aurora hasn’t thought so of course, completely respect that.
I thought the exact same thing, it hard to understand especially considering how GREAT this song is, and frankly better than a several tracks that made the album. Sometimes I wonder if the TITLE came first and then inspired her to write the song, seems one of the only reasons that make sense, lol ;?)

This song is good but I'm kinda glad it didnt come out with the album? It sounds so different than the other songs on the album. I wouldnt be upset if it came up somewhere else though........

I'm not sure how many, but it's probably a big number. I think she's said in a few interviews that she was a bit of a perfectionist in the beginning and wasn't happy with a few of the songs that she initially wrote for AMD Architect, Silhouettes, Colours Are Gone, and Blue Valentine are the only ones coming to mind rn but there's definitely more.
