    I ordered the whole 14 piece kit from you guys my outer tie rods ends don't have a grease insert are they possibly self contained?

      +James Fox If it did not come with a zerk fitting it was pre-greased and sealed when it was manufactured.

    Are the outer tie rods the ones that can cause bad shaking when hitting small bumps in the road, or can both?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  4 года назад

      +Fuck Puddle This could be just the outers or both outers and inners, this may also not be related to the tie rods as well.

    Anyone here in 2023? Using 15/16 wrench just spins the nut with the inner. A 16mm fits a section of the inner to hold, but I don't see you guys do that here?

    What kind of grease do you use?

    Don’t you have to press the outer tie rod down into the knuckle? I tried just using the castle nut to pull the threaded rod down into the knuckle and stripped it out.....

    when doing the inner tie rod on this same vehicle what is the trick with removing that boot?? I have the outer clip off but can't figure out how to loosen the large side

    • @pabbs7509
      @pabbs7509 2 года назад +1

      There’s a metal clip at the top of it you’ll have to cut it off and then replace the boot with it or you can use another screw type clip for it

    What causes a loose change sound when driving slow over bumps? I'm driving a 2008 GMC Sierra. It's so hard to pinpoint where exactly underneath the truck the sound is coming from. Sometime it sounds like it's coming from the front and other times from the rear. What happens when the sway bar goes bad, or can it go bad?

    • @Xtragicfever
      @Xtragicfever 8 лет назад +2

      I'm thinking it might be the sway bar links. Hopefully you have a video on how to replace these I can use and buy the parts from you.

      its the sway bar links clattering. the rubber gets worn so the washers clatter back and forth. easy fix
