Yeah, this video clearly shows the difference between driving it for a few days and owning it for 20 years. The guy speaking in the video is a tech enthusiast and ranks anything with a lot of tech high points. If the only thing one cares about is a car that drives nice for 2 years, great, get the Ford Ranger.
But if you want a vehicle that will last 30 years, get the Hilux. The older the platform, the more reliable.
Putting the Ranger in S tier despite clear track record of defects, breakdowns, and expensive repairs, just destroyed any credibility this dude had, if he had any.

Would love to see the Mahindra Pickup in analysis like this. In standard guise they are pretty dull but here in SA they get sold with a ton of aftermarket kit like uprated suspension, aggressive AT tires, bull bars, roof racks etc. Still more affordable than a base model 2.4 Hilux or bottom of the range Ranger 4x4. Its a real option for the budget minded buyer, not just a laughable tractor based bakkie 😂

MG3 is a out dated model in China which is off market from 2019 but still a good selling car in Australia. The only problem needed to be concern is the dealer of chinese makers broke because of financial issues, such as bad cash flow management especially in this high cash rate situation. The makers from China are so rich, SAIC, Cheery and GWM. My main concerns in a ute would be for work so Durability, Reliability, Towing Capacity, Common issues, Costs of services, maintenance and Fuel efficiency. Not so much interior design and technology as most the newer utes all look good and have nice interior.
Also, maybe even offroad capability comparison would be nice.

S tier on the cannon for the interior? Wtf are you on? It feels premium but has to be the cheapest interior I've felt hands-on with cheap plastic etc etc. Work on these every day and the build quality is laughable and GWMs QC is the biggest joke.

@@dylancoleman124 working in a dealership, the amount of shit we deal with straight from the factory is a joke. Had a Cannon X 2 weeks ago with the B pillar trim punched through the seatbelt rendering the seat belt inop. Constant cross threaded bolts on everything, had a cross threaded steering column during the recall to make Cannons 5 star ancap. They're crap

if you own a ranger you 1000% tailgate every other person on the road and drive like an asshole. This use to be exclusive to Audi drivers, but now its mainly Rangers!
