I use this exact unit for my mobile detailing business. Its not the most powerful extractor by any means however you can't beat how portable it is. Takes care of all my jobs without hassle!

In Europe they are selling it to $350. It's just called Hydrosteam (without little green pet). I've compared them and it is the same product.

I bought this after watching some RUclips videos & I’ve noticed people are just not honest. It’s alright for a quick spot clean or a spillage that’s fresh but it’s not really useful for getting stains out of things, which you’d expect for its price. If you really want performance, especially for cleaning up pet mess and other things. You should invest in a decent wet vac. It can be used for so many things too like in the garden and the powerful suction would actually pull the dirt and not leave it damp. An actual steamer would be better too

I never thought a $$machine would come WITHOUT wheels! I didn’t even think to ask such a question prior to purchase. wheels should be mandatory

I was thinking of getting this unit. I’m really glad you did this video because it doesn’t look like the steam is very useful and is it really steam or is it just a mist mist? Either way the feature is underwhelming. I think I’m gonna stick with either the Hoover clean slate or the Kenmore spot cleaner . I don’t remember the model number.

I just got it for 120 bucks on amazon, so it seems to be worth it for occasional clean ups around the house, did some couches, mattresses, and area rugs so far...i should have watched videos and pre soaked a little more

You could always store the crevasse cleaner attachment inside the reservoir.
Also, you can simply use hot water to begin with.

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  11 месяцев назад +1

That’s a good point. I will probably start storing it in the waste tank after use. Yes you can add hot water into the machine but it does cool off rather quickly depending on ambient temperatures. I keep a kettle with some distilled water near by and that seems to work well

I found that a Rigid box type shop vacuum had much more suction power. I used a spray bottle (with pump) to apply the cleaner and then used a suction tool adapted to the shop vacuum. This little Bissell machine looks like a very nice unit though

It didn’t help me removing any spots ! Just soaking the areas with lots of water ! I see brown water in the tank yes which means that it removed some hard to reach dust but this is jot what I bought it for! I wanted to clean the spots !

Is this Bissell Spot Clean Hydrosteam quieter than the Bissell Spot Clean Pro?
Please answer if you know, the Spot Clean Pro is soo loud , it hurts my ears so I know that can’t use often especially when I have elderly around. It will be worse on them.
If the Hydrosteam is quieter that would be great!

I borrowed a bissell spotclean pet pro from my neighbor, and Jezus, what a noise!
I needed to put my headphones on, with noise canceling enabled, otherwise it did hurt my ears.
I bought a hydrosteam, and it does make not that much noise as the pet pro (no headphones needed), so yes, less noise.

yes - I have both units - and the Spot Clean Pro sounds like a jumbo jet taking off - so I wear noise cancelling headphones when using mine. The Hydrosteam is much much quieter, but the downside is that it has less powerful suction. I use the hydrosteam for regular maintenance cleaning, and the spot clean pro for cleaning up stubborn stains.

It’s great to know how they both compared to each other.

Just got and unwrapped mine and am really disappointed after the first use. The so-called "steam" is so cold, I can't imagine it making any difference when cleaning whatsoever. It's also pretty loud and has poor suction. I'm probably going to return it.

Yes I think so. This machine is good for what it is but not necessary if you already have one of the other Bissel machines. I’m going to be testing it a bit more and then giving it to my cousin. He’s got a small dog and a few young kids, he’ll need it more than me.

The best way to use this machine is to buy quality shampoo and spot cleaner. Pretreat the stain or area to clean and just use plain water in the machine. Prolongs life of machine and quality cleaning products will take care of stains. If you get too much water on upholstery after sucking out as much water as you can use a towel to help squeeze out some more of the moisture than you could even use a fan to help speed up drying. It’s not a bad machine you just have to work within its parameters and be smart and get good quality cleaning products.

You're supposed to fill the reservoir with WARM water, not COLD! Yes, it heats the steam element up but you're just pulling cold water through on the water setting. Not a fair review because you didn't use it correctly.
