Well well well. I received my hilt 3 days early and I'm quite impressed. UW/TPS changed the interior of the box the hilt is in to have 3 accessory boxes in it. They are in line of the longer side and they fit snugly together. Then we get to the hilt. Which is excellent. I'm only 5'6" and both my hands fit quite comfortably in the grip area and have easy access to both buttons. I can fit one hand on the emitter and the grip is firm. Lastly, the blade depth is also quite impressive, about 4 inches of blade retention and there's 2 set screws in line, one in the emitter and one about 1 1/2 inches below the first. I even like the blade plug which when the hilt is activated, lets light bleed through the edges to show something like a rifling effect. Overall, I'm overwhelmed with the quality of this hilt. It's a real winner of a hilt. Can't wait to see what future hilts are released.
Sigh. I wasn't expecting this to release so soon! Well, at least I can pre-order with the pre-kit at least. My next question, are you also going to be releasing the apprentices' hilt too?
@@mattanderson5627 open that manual and read it. Then follow the instructions about how to update the firmware. AND AS ALWAYS BACK UP THE microSD CARD! before doing the update.
@@chalion8399 I've read the manual but it doesn't say where to go to update the firmware. Like I know how to plug it in and all that, but where do I download the actual firmware from?

I also like that the newest firmware update gets the effects much closer to how proffie effects work.
