Crank hub issue is blown out of proportion. Its usually an issue with modified cars with aftermarket parts that push more power to the engine than the crank hub was designed for.

    131k on a 10 year old m car. You're asking for trouble....

M cars are actually quite reliable. Their reliability is actually nothing to complain about.

@AutomayCarSales i own a body shop here in NV. And the amount of older BMWs i get in with 10 prior fault codes and half the electronics not working is insane. They are trouble and expensive. But there are good used cars out there if taken care of.

@AutomayCarSales wasnt trying to take a dig at your car. Its actually a lot of performance and a nice car for the money. Just having $131k on it, if one of those turbos go out, or the ECU goes bad....you're easily looking upwards of $5k in repairs. And due to the mileage that could only be a year or 2 into ownership. BMWs and Benz are amazing to buy pre owned a year or so old with a factory or extended warranty. Best performance for your money.

Totally understand, we sell cars. Different cars have different levels of reliability and that’s something to discuss. The older BMWs did have those issues, but the 2015 M4 is actually a reliable car. Most older cars will have a number of prior fault codes and bmws will have a lot of electrical glitches if the battery is low. I would expect a lot of cars with issues to come to the body shop so I wouldn’t look at it as a representative sample. Of course if something does go bad, repairs will be expensive but will it be as expensive as buying a BMW that’s only a couple years old? Definitely not. 2023 M4s are around $75k and many people can’t afford that. There is a chance no major repairs will be needed on this older M4 as well. If some issue does occur with this M4 thats where purchasing a warranty can really help.

You have your check your break pads sensors there. Yeah so go and check them then trying to sell a car with worn out break pads and rubbish tyres
Bruh that car has 131k 10 years old 😂😂 and you want 24k you are living in a clown world it’s worth $14k if that. Good luck 😂😂😂
