Games like FH or The Crew have been created thanks to them. The games are also more popular than the grand daddy TDU. People often compared the graphics to those 2, but do not forget the budget and team creating TDU Solar Crown is way smaller!
I loved the Solar Crown Demo, it’s a damn decent game for an AA Title. People think that every new games has to look like the next Forza Horizon, and forget about what happens behind the scenes (team size, budget, marketing budget ect)
OMG the good times when I played TD1 and 2 in my PC-XT with CGA graphics in a green phosphor monitor, back in the early 90's... those were the days. And it's quite impressive to see this franchise still rocking after all these years. And I'm proud to say I played each and every one of these games!
That's an issue for a lot of studios, most cars being scanned are LHD because they're easily available simply because most countries have LHD cars and also the subcontractors in those countries and because some exotic cars don't even have RHD variants because they were never sold to a RHD market. And for those saying you can simply mirror the interior, no it doesn't work that way otherwise car manufacturers would already do it IRL. They don't because it doesn't work, you either make an interior that fits for both RHD and LHD or try to create an interior that has the most parts possible that can be switched without a new design.

Decent? An AA studio just created a map with 2.5x more road km than fh5 or crew motorfest.

Both TDU and TDU 2 are still the best, even tho both are more than 10 years old already. Still hold up pretty well till this day.

37 years is a long time for a franchise The only other franchise I know that's been around for that long Is flight simulator
The sense of speed in solar crown is insane. Other game franchises need to take notes.

Due to the China Setting, the 18 Rating, the Online Only DRM and the PVP Only Racing, TDUSC is dead to me.
What is the problem with China location? Racing games focused only in USA its very repetitive, its good do see different countries on racing games.
