Corey had upset Frank Mozzola who played buzz and they almost got into a fight. Now Frank was the leader of LAs toughest gang at the time so Corey was scared to death and that is why he is in the state that he is here. He was just trying to get into his character and twice had taken a girl away that Frank was talking to. So Frank was going to let him have it. Luckily they became friends I met Frank through my sister and we hung out for a few months. For being the tough guy that he was I found him to be a gentle character and an artist. He spoke a lot about things he learned from knowing James. Frank has passed away but he will always remain in my memories as a wonderful and kind man. I remember one time he told me that he was at a a Hollywood party and the guy throwing the party came up to him and said “Do you wanna see me cook my baby”. He said he wanted to punch him but he just left the party. He told me a lot about how many artist sold their souls and the demonic practices. At the time I felt that he was talking about sick and dangerous people but the rest I wasn’t to sure. But now it is obvious he was telling the truth. Thank you Frank and peace and love be with you always. And as far as looking at jimmy here you can see how centered and relaxed this man was. Comfortable in his own skin and with a lazar like focus. He is known for being so troubled but he looked like the most relaxed man in the room. Love you to Jimmy. Like they say what you are in front of the camera you are in life.
Corey Allen wasn't very friendly but James Dean was very nice and friendly. It was almost like Corey wanted to be in the state of mind of his character of a gang member OR maybe he wanted to be a wannabe Marlon Brando Wild One type.
He certainly has 'wondering' eyes for a couple of those boys, very disinterested in a few others, and completely bored when those girls enter the picture. The fella on the left knows exactly what's going on the whole time.
He possibly was disinterested, but he was curious to both the girls. Playing a little peekaboo game with Steffi Sidney, and momentarily holding Beverly Long's pendant, and complimenting her on it. Which she appreciated.
GoWestYoungMan ...get educated, Ace. Here is what is *sourced and documented* with Dean as it pertains to relationships with women - Pier Angeli, (sourced by many, including East of Eden co-star Julie Harris - video on Ytube), Barbara Glenn, later known as Barbara Gordon, mother of actor Keith Gordon - (NY relationship sourced by pictures, love letters sold at auction by her estate and by Dean’s friend, actor Martin Landau), Ursula Andress (pictures, interviews (composer Leonard Rosenman for one), friends), Alice Denham, writer and a Playboy playmate, sourced from her 2006 memoirs and referenced in a NY Times article...he left her for Ms. Angeli. Also, actress Betsy Russell, who worked twice with, per a 2011 interview, Christine White (interviews), Liz Sheridan (interviews, Dean friends, book), actress Lili Kardell (per an interview she did for a 1957 biography on his life), Arlene Martel (also known as Arline Sax early in her career) per her interview in 1957 and this is just to mention a few. He, like Brando, may have been bisexual with a known predominant preference for women. But, like Brando, he certainly wasn’t gay as certain people and communities would like to have him be for their own agendas and desires. These constant unsourced rumors about practically every male actor ( Newman, McQueen etc.) being gay, especially after they are no longer here to defend themselves for the record is abhorrent. Some people are straight, some people are bisexual and some are gay. Only the individual themselves knows what their preference is and how they would classify themselves. And, gowestyoungman, if your only takeaway from this video is to talk about gay sexuality then we all know what that means...right, “young man”?
Here you can see at the second 00:52, that Corey Allen rejects James Dean's cigarette, to be more specific in the movie just before the "chicken run" race where Buzz dies you can see that Buzz takes Jimmy's cigarette, to which James he does nothing and wipes the tobacco or the pieces of cigarette paper from his mouth... Why did Corey Allen take the cigarette from him in that scene? Could it be that he regretted having rejected the cigarette that James Dean offered him in the past?... We won't know, everything they did was a work of art, extras and great actors...
Corey Allen seems so disinterested. He tries to sneak and pick his nose. Dont you hate that feeling? Nick Addams is funny. He was so funny in the movie Picnic
Just saw another clip where they explained they started shooting the movie in black and white. When Jack Warner saw rushes for the first 3 days he realized it was gonna be a bigger film and ordered it to be shot in color even though the first 3 days of shooting would have to be scrapped.
OMG! Gotta love Dennis Hopper walking in at 1:36 LOL
Dean was a legend even if he just made 3 film his legacy will live on forever
John Lloyd Abero also approximately 30 television roles..,many are on YTube.
