The Baku analysis is a little off. Odd cost cards can be paired up to form even cost combinations. So all mana can be spent every turn (hand size permitting). Turn 4 = 3 drop + 1 drop for example.
Looks to be the expansion that I pick up standard again, as Mean Streats is leaving. Great Video, you put my thaughts on why Genn is hugely better than Baku (even+1=odd whereas odd+2=odd) into more in depth words. Thumbs up!
The point of rush is to get good trades to get more value out of your minions than your opponent gets out of theirs. Your opponent spends 2 mana on a 2/3, you spend 3 mana to kill the 2/3 and summon a 3/1. A 3/1 is worth a little more than 1 mana, so the value you got out of your 3 mana card is around 3.5 in that scenario. Compare this to flanking strike though, regardless of what you kill you get a 3/3, which is 2.5 mana, you spend 4 mana to kill your opponent's 2/3, which means you're still .5 mana ahead, but you didn't play it on curve so in that scenario rush is better. Every other scenario though, flanking strike is just better. Same with the 2/5 charger. Your opponent plays a 3/5 tar creeper on turn 3, you kill it on turn 4 and summon a 2/3. A 2/3 is worth about 2 mana, so you were able to tempo ahead by 1 mana. Tar creeper is even considered one of the best turn 3 cards in the game, and you come up favorably against it. In a world where you can counter the common 2-3 turn plays, rush is pretty good. Where it falls short is if your opponent plays a 3/2 on turn 2 (which is decently common) and you now have to spend your entire turn 3 killing it.
i dont care what any one says, genn is far superior to baku. you can always curve perfeclty if you build your deck well, and even with aggro you rarely run out of cards
Hugely underrated channel. Great Hearthstone content.
Hindsight is really something

That is a good point. However you'll run out of cards faster if you play like that.
Jacob hopefully echo might help a bit with that.
Odd palidin and odd rogue have something to say lol
"Genn is superior to Baku"
You're forgetting that azalina can be used when you 0 cards left in hard or if you're going into fatigue
Best video I've seen on the new expansion. Great job.

There is a warlock card that reduces the cost of ur minions but not below 1 and phantom militia can be a powerful combo.
