It shows you how amazing they are when you hear them live. My favorite live video is "Joyful Joyful" Live from the evergreen experience. You will love it.

Loved your reaction again! It is awesome when reactors that have singing and/or recording background really appreciate the talent this group has. For your enjoyment, you should watch their Sing Off performances. Scott, Mitch and Kirstie were only 19 at the time. The group outperformed every other group in their singing, costumes and enthusiasm.
It's not only live, it looks like they filmed it with a camera phone. I found this video for myself, just because I didn't believe they could make it sound like they could make those effects with their voices.

I had VIP tickets this summer, so before the show after sound check they came out and answered questions for VIP ticket holders, and then, just like this, just standing there, they sang their original song “Valentine.” If I hadn’t already been ride or die for PTX, that would have done it.

omg, i would love to see your reaction to AHA, specifically their live version, which in my opinion in 100x better than the studio version, it’s recorded by a fan so the quality is not the best but i PROMISE it’s worth it, it especially showcases Mitch’s talent
Ok so I don’t actually have any way to send or use money online, long story, but I would absolutely send $100 cash to a P.O. Box for my suggestion 😅 I also live on the east coast, Ohio, so I definitely could if you guys would like. So it would be two videos but one song. Pentatonix have a song and music video called Love Again that’s very similar to Daft Punk and Dance music but it’s actually an original they made for an older album and it’s a banger! Not only that but there’s a video on RUclips of them performing it in a room for a TV station and much like this video you just reacted to, none of them have microphones except for Kevin the beatboxer. Which is actually perfect for the mix! Also the sound quality is much better because it’s from a professional camera. And not only do they totally nail it, but Mitch has the lead and slaps you every chorus! 😂 I think it would be a prefect kind of reaction for this channel. Watch the music video first and then the live private performance back to back. Btw the private version will be called “Pentatonix - Love Again Live on 24/7” I’ve been a huge fan of theirs since they started and it’s tied with one other video for greatest private performance from them ever in my book! Keep up the great work guys y’all are killin it! ❤

I don't think Kirstie was nervous; I think she was concentrating and counting time in her head.
There's a recent video of Scott, all by himself, practicing "The 12 Days of Christmas." When they sing that song, different people do different days, and it gets kind of crazy as they enumerate all the things from previous days as the song nears the end (which is apparently the point of that song). So here's Scott, all alone, singing a phrase, mentally counting, and then singing his next phrase, all dead serious. It's weird to watch, just the one singer and one part out of context, but apparently this is fairly common for them. When they're in the studio recording a song each singer generally lays down his or her track separately, and then they send the tracks to Ed Boyer, their genius audio editor, and he makes the balance perfect and puts the whole thing together. And in live performances they can't always rely on being able to hear their bandmates at crucial times, so each one is responsible for keeping time correctly on his or her own.
I think you're right about the time counting. Since this was done backstage, there are no ear monitors to help keep them on time. Scott will also move his hands to help count time, plus he always likes to be moving during a song.
@@jimcollier4114 Scott finds it practically impossible to hold still while he sings; I think moving his hands helps him to find the right notes. Which is the song where they wanted to look like they were making a family portrait? Well, they succeeded, but Scott was obviously having problems. They ended up having him stand behind and between two chairs so he could hold onto the chairs, with what looks like a death grip, so he could keep his hands still.
