I'm new to the channel, (Anna and Phillip sent me.) I'm loving every minute of your program. I have to say, you had me when I first saw your house was yellow! How glorious. Carry on, it's wonderful!
I can't believe this is only your 10th you tube episode ! ! Your phptography, story telling, humour, artistry is all just perfect. I loved this so much. Thank you for sharing and making us feel a part of your journey. A great record for your kids to look back on when they are older and for you to reminisce 😊
Thank you so much! 😊 We absolutely cannot believe we've already produced ten episodes! Time flies! We’re so glad you’re enjoying the photography, storytelling, and humor along the way. It really means a lot to us that you feel part of the journey, and we love the idea of creating something our kids can look back on. Thank you for being part of it! 😊
IMHO you two are the best. Your family, your work ethic, your design sense and your conviviality are all so very enjoyable and of course your stunning home doesn't hurt either. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers.
Thank you so much! 😊 That means the world to us. We're so happy you enjoy the journey and everything we put into it-having you along makes it all the more fun! Cheers to you too!
I just love the way your extended family come together to help in the garden. That way you make the decisions and don’t relay on outside employment. Your Herbarium of plants will just look superb, and the sconces in between will break up the groups of pictures. Its so funny because l had an old Culpepper print book which l used to make groups of Prints in our lounge room. l had an idea to make the mounts out of William Morris paper, which l glued onto the white mounts. They probably sound very busy but l think it works! I have now sanded, washed and completed the undercoat on our large dresser…next is the mustard/yellow paint! 🪴🪴🪴
Thank you! 😊 We’re so lucky to have family who loves jumping in to help-makes all the difference! The herbarium with sconces in between is going to bring such character to the room. Your idea with the Culpepper prints and William Morris paper sounds amazing, and definitely doesn’t sound too busy-it must look stunning! Good luck with the mustard-yellow dresser-can’t wait to hear how it turns out! 🪴💛
Mom’s Love of her flowers is so inspiring! The Herbarium hung up for study would be gorgeous! I did an old calendar of herbs framed in 1 of my homes! Dad did great job w/ light fixtures! I Loved watching the family cook outside! 🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Thank you so much, Laura! 😊 The love for flowers really does shine through, doesn’t it? And we agree-the herbarium is going to look amazing in the study! Your herb calendar sounds beautiful too! 🙏 Blessings to you as well!
Really love the botanicals and your sketch for how you will use them in this newly redesigned room Cannot wait to see it all come together. Also, love seeing the outdoor activities and the beautiful autumn landscape! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re excited about the botanicals too, and it’s fun sketching out how they’ll fit into the newly redesigned room. Can’t wait to show you the finished space! So glad you’re enjoying the outdoor activities and fall vibes too. 🍂 Thanks for watching and following along!
HOW do you accomplish so much in your days? Two little children, another on the way, two businesses to maintain and all that you do at home! You are very talented and completely amazing! I am very much enjoying your vlogs!
Haha thank you so much for the supporting comments! We do it by working most hours of a day - like now for instance, it being 01:00, kids fast asleep (and most others too), and we're editing episode 13 that drops on Sunday 😄 Happy to have you with us on the journey!
I love the colours of the leaves with your Manor House .All your projects are awesome and I can’t wait to see the herbarium pictures framed.. love your Modesty it’s no wonder you found a kindred spirit with Philipp🤣🤣🤣😉 you both have supremely talented wives👌👌👏👏
Thank you so much, Susie! 😊 The fall leaves really do complement the manor, don’t they? We’re excited to get those herbarium pictures framed too-it’ll be worth the wait! Haha, and yes, modesty runs in the family! 😄 We’re definitely lucky to have such talented wives keeping us in check! 😉👏 Much love! //Karl
What a great find in the herbarium! The framed samples will be so lovely in your study! I have a huge book of bird prints.....each print in about 60 cm x 90 cm and are similar to the famous Audobon bird prints. I plan to frame about a dozen of these and do a similar application to my stairwell.....with simple lights above the row of frames. Always enjoy your lovely home projects! Cheers!
Wow that sounds like a great project you have ahead of you! And 60 by 90 - that’s going to make a statement, for sure! Best of luck to you with that! 🤗
WOW! Thank you so much for the kind words! That really means a lot! We just love to share our journey with you guys, and that you seem to enjoy it as well! Yay! 🤗💫❤️
SUPBERB production of every aspect of your videos…Such a pleasure to see your love of life, creativity, family and your narration….Beautiful, Funny, Elegant and Fascinating….. One of the best channels on RUclips! ❤from Montreal
THANK YOU! It really makes our day to hear this! And it certainly fuels us to continue pushing hard to create the best possible content for you guys! ❤️🤗
Yall are a great team and the millwork is awesome it adds so much character. I usually am not a color person but your choices are so beautiful and cozy the space up yet keeping it traditional. Your home and property are lovely! Thank you for sharing.
Loving the family pitching in to get things done ❤. Lots of bulbs to dig up and s many leaves. What a glorious time of year. Design choices are incredible ❤❤ Deborah. North Carolina
Thank you so much, Deborah! 😊 It’s definitely a team effort over here-lots of bulbs and even more leaves! 🍂 Fall is such a beautiful time of year, and we’re so glad you’re enjoying the design choices too. Sending love from Sweden to North Carolina! ❤️
Right? Those leaves are endless! 🍁Doritos are fine, as long as he’s done some work before reviving his snack 😉😂 Glad you love the botanicals-we’re having so much fun with them! 😊
I need to wait until the end to comment. Love, Love, Love that really cool botanical book and how you plan to use the pages. The explanation of your inspiration plans.
Love your style and interesting watching your creative process. I have never layed out swatches etc in a pattern like that-moving through the house, but most of my condo (1800 square feet-so much smaller than your home😊) has the same wall color. We have varied the room colors in the bedrooms and bathrooms, which are more sequestered from each other. Really cool to watch, especially how involved your husband is in design decisions-it’s nice. Enjoy!
We love using color, and carrying it with us in various ways in between rooms and floors. As a guest, you quickly recognize patterns and colors as you move throughout the home and you feel, well, at home more quickly ☺️ We also love to both be involved in the entire process. Naturally, we have our specific skills and strengths - but the process of creating a loving home (in all matters of what that entails) is something we both take great pride in doing! ❤️
Thank you so much, Lynn! We’re so happy our videos resonate with you. Knowing that it helps fill your cup makes it all worthwhile! Can’t wait to see you again next Sunday! 😊❤️
I am watching this later than usual, but am loving the selection of music you all choose. It seems to be uniquically yours and help set the whole vibe you guys have going on. Thanxs for the great videos.
Thank you, Kerrie! 😊 We’re so glad you’re enjoying the music-it’s something we love curating to match the vibe! 🎶 It’s awesome to hear that it adds to the experience. Thanks so much for watching, no matter when you tune in! 😊
Karl, Did u learn how to use power tools in Florida? The study and niche are beautiful, style, color and carpentry of the architectural elements. His majesty looks great!
Hi there! 👋🏻 I have spent my fair share of time in both Lowe’s and Home Depot when I’ve been state-side. Let me tell you that much ☺️ I grew up watching This Old House and the master carpenter Norm Abram every weekend, and still to this day I watch re-runs of old episodes and reminisce! By now, however, most of my hours with power tools have been here in Sweden 😊
Hi. There's an english gardeners vlog from Bunny Guinness where she mentions just to leave in the Dahlias. Just put a thick layer of compost on top and over time you will get big nice klump of Dahlias. Might be worth a try. Greetings
Thanks for the tip! 😊 We’ve heard about that method too! We might have to give it a try-less digging sounds tempting. Thanks for watching, and greetings to you as well! 🌿
Still watching your videos and loving them, but, as you might imagine we are a little busy here in the. States with only days away from our election. Keep your ears open, the world is about to change.
Thank you so much for sticking with us even during such a busy time! 😊 Wishing you all the best in these eventful days ahead - meanwhile, we’ll keep the videos coming! 🌍✨

Autumn in Sweden looks awesome. The colors are so rich and warm.
It really is fantastic! And this fall has been especially wonderful with warm temperatures and plenty of sun!
Much like New England in the US, rich vibrant colors that need nothing else to draw attention!

That sure was an enjoyable Video.🇨🇦
We’re glad to hear you liked it! 🤗
In America, a scone is a baked good, and a sconce is a wall lighting fixture.
Fun channel, though.
Yes. You are certainly correct. Silly mixup - but fun…? 😉 Hope you enjoy our content despite our illiteracy! 🤗❤️
I love that herbarium! Great find! Maybe consider carrying them over the doorways as well, it looks a bit odd that blank space up there?
Totally agree! We will try it and see how it looks. It’s also a matter of spacing it all equally 👍🏻
I love the colours you have chosen!
The new rooms will be stunning.
Thank you so much! Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻
You are so good at this video making! Well done!
Thank you so much! ❤️🤗

The drone shots of your property are stunning. Is fall the most beautiful season? Or does this land shine all year long.
Thank you!! The best time to visit would be August or early September. Lush, still warm and that late summer vibe 🤗
I would have put a solar light on Gustav.
That doesn’t cut it here in Sweden I’m afraid - we need much more light than what solar can produce ☺️
❤❤❤ what is the best time to visit Sweden?
May to September! By far! 🤗
End of June. The light is breathtaking!
💕🌼🍂
Who is Oscar? Someone important to the house?
A Swedish King ☺️ Check out episode 2 to learn more! 👍🏻
Ni kan ju använda någon annan mindre belysning till vänster om dörren ifall ni fortfarande vill ha ljus där. ☺️
Vi löste det faktiskt så att vi får plats med en till lampa där! Mer om det i nästa avsnitt! 🤗
If you take all the leaves from the ground what have the trees roots to live on.. just thinking
There’s plenty of nutrition in the ground for the roots to live on. And plenty of leaves, still, that aren’t being collected 😅
